Do you guys know that they collect stats on baseball? Nolan Ryan, for real? A 112 career ERA+?
Yeah, so he walked a few too many guys & that hurts some of his stats & therefore any really good argument for him. Does this mean I can't even list him? He had many, many qualities that a person would want to discuss when talking about the GOAT pitcher. That's why he'd be at least mentioned in the conversation IMO.
Can you name a more overpowering pitcher? Or one that did it for 26+ years? I guarantee you can't.
Stats don't tell you everything although Ryan has plenty of great stats too. Did it really hurt your feelings that badly that I listed him? It's just a list I made off the top of my head & I didn't look up any stats.
