Im curious as to what "sliced guac" is? Everything else sounds amazing
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

Next door neighbor just returned home, He had to drive thru Mexico to get back. Just yesterday he told me...

He got pulled of by the Mexican police somewhere along the way and they took every thing in his wallet "$500 approx.". No ticket or nothing, just made up a excuse to pull him over and took his money.

Ive heard of these kind of stories but this is the first time it's been confirmed. It does happen.

Super standard. If you don't have Mexican plates you are getting pulled over for all kinds of random reasons. The military also stops you at random check points. He paid way too much... Usually 100 pesos ($8) will do the trick. What we do is have cool American merchandise with us like a Bulls hat or a Texas Rangers t-shirt. We give them that and they send you on your way. Those guys are paid than $15 a day so they steal from foreigners.

bukowski72: [plain]Del, I don't think those magical 10-20 games exist much in Vegas. Most games now start at 20-40 or 30-60. You can get close with 4/8 with a full kill. For a regular 10-20 he would have to go to the Commerce or head to the East Coast.[/plain

It happens all the time. In my college days, we would walk across the border. Sometimes we would drive. EVERYTIME we drove into Mexico we got pulled over and had to pay off the cops.

Pro tip: they probably werent even cops.

As an aside, Id be very very careful when eating fish caught from shore anyplace, but especially Mexico, and especially something like halibut which basically spend their entire lives soaking up heavy metals.

The day we know it's truly all good is when you don't feel the need to post about it, and try to convince us and yourself it's the best ever.

    Real talk.

Because if shit were that great you wouldn't have the hours you do to post it. Just Do It!

    Watch yourself down there Tyde!
The Cartel, Kidnapping rings, and Police are
your main threats. Don't underestimate your comfortable visit.

My advice.. keep going south Brazil, Argentina.

Tight 10-20 Limit doesn't exist anymore(except for a couple of places). I don't think tyde is wiling to move to the East Coast because in limit he can't push it peoples faces. If you move to 20-40 limit or above the game moves back to super aggressive 4-8 style which will crush the tight player.

A 10-20 tight limit game is where a conservative pro can make a living. These games just don't happen enough in places where people want to live anymore.

Switch to 2-7 Triple Draw and you should kill, Same concepts.

I used to make real regular trips to the Peppermill in Reno for the 10/20 lhe game. Like 2+ times a year. They have those great tower suites with the jaccuzzis in the floors, the prime rib is (was) +EV, and a ton of the PTA movie Hard Eight was filmed there, which I just fucking love. So yeah Im cool with Reno.

Also whats funny is that the Truckee River flows through Reno and has world class trout fishing in it, but I never fished it or even noticed it because at the time I was taking an extended break from fishing. Funny how life works.

But yeah if not for the fucking snow, Id consider buying a ranch in Reno, all day.
