Holy shit, that was my first 'concert' too. I don't think I had thought about them in 20+ years
BOC with Scorpions don't remember date at the now defunct Coliseum. Many concerts after that. After one concert was hammered driving home caused 3 car collision. Cop asked me if I was drinking. I said no and he left it at that. Perks of being young and hot in the late 70s early 80's.
John Mellencamp at Poplar Creek. We were very late getting there because of some guy and we had to stand in the absolute last row of the place. Still mad many years later.
Much love for Alpine Vally except for the dickhead cops who tried to use concert goers as a revenue source through speeding tickets and other bullshit. They pulled people over on false pretenses.
they used to have a guy sitting up in a tree on rt 50 with a beer in his hand. He would "raise a toast" to people in cars that drove past him. If anyone "toasted" him back, they would immediately get pulled over for alcohol in the car.
