There will be unsubstantiated reports that the plane was shot down with an American made surface to air missile that was seized from a covert CIA project in the Syrian conflict. Putin will then paint it as "Islamic extremists" that have to be annihilated. He will get unofficial political support from China and thumb his nose to the UN and NATO as he fully invades the Ukraine.

Now I'm not sure. Just caught a bit of the news and Fox(grain of salt) is suggesting that it was the Russian sponsored rebels in Ukraine that shot it down while aiming at something else. The part of my brain that loves complex conspiracies doesn't want to believe that it was accidental.

How can you accidentally shoot down a plane at 30k feet? I would think it requires a good missile launcher + missile combo

The only thing they could have been aiming at that would have a similar radar signature would be... another commercial jet airliner.

I know it was a different plane, just saw news reports. That is why I said 2 from the same airline lost due to?? In 4 months? Just seems pretty odd and coincidental if it was shot down.

A 777 in the fleet of Malaysia Airlines, MH370, went missing in March (was stolen???)

A 777 in the fleet of Malaysia Airlines (MH370???) was shot down over the Ukraine in July

My best guess is that INTERPOL bought the missing jet on the Black Market from the nefarious Chinese business men who set up the mid-air airliner heist. INTERPOL subsequently flew the 777 over Ukraine and shot it down with an IGLA S2A missile to ignite a new European war.My prediction:
