Cmoney, I don't know how these sort of staking deals typically work. Are you putting up the whole buy-in? How much of the profit do you want?

I'm not going to play very many events because I still have a job to do at the series. Maybe 3 or 4 events in the $1-1.5k range, if that's cool with you.

Also, thanks so much for the generous offer. Actually playing at the WSOP has been on my bucket list for quite some time.

For the people who are concerned...The only reason I suggested Cmoney playing at the same table with me is to ease his mind about my ability in these games or in some sense manage the money without it ever leaving his sight. And also I thought it would be fun to play at the tables with cmoney and why not do it this way if hes going to play in cash games during the series anyway...I didn't think it was a terrible suggestion and by no means does he have to do that... Ive never dealt with anyone on these forums other than Chinamaniac who ive done well in HU tournaments for and shipped his part after cashing for a couple thousand something like 3-4 times. I'm going to make us money if he does this. And again I have the best references possible on 2plus2...If you want those all he has to do is PM me asking for them and can verify a long history of being backed since 2009. And ive only played backed since playing professionally and currently get almost 95% of the profit...I'm shocked most of you guys didn't know this already! Couldn't be further from the truth someone who gets backing can't beat the games...Tom Dwan is backed did you know that? a lot of big name pros are...For major tournaments almost the entire field is backed.

Simply looking at this from a business perspective do you honestly think there has been a better option proposed in this thread so far than staking Ryland? In your heart of hearts do you think any of the proposed deals made in this thread so far are somehow more + ev? I mean do you honestly think he will just run off with the money? Does he have any sort of history of that with backers? It's been proven that he's a top shelf card player so certainly you can't question his skill.

Honestly this whole thread reeks of being something that is pretend if he stakes a bunch of non pros and doesn't stake Ryland.

Not the end of the world if he doesn't want to put me in or play any cash games with me...Could be a good time if all else...I am impressed with what he does for the community with all of this. Besides everyone else i'm a bit of a different case where he could potentially be my investor playing for him for the rest of his life when I transition to live fulltime from online only at the end of this year. There is a lot more for me to prove than the others with this.
