I also heard for years that they had an open relationship. Not sure if it was true, but I kept hearing it from so many different parties.
If that was really going on, the marriage was doomed.
this guy's a loser, fraud and creep... anybody posing as a music producer could bang this 10, she is DES-PE-RATE (I checked out her youtube page)
I remember Drexel saying several times back in the day on radio shows that he heard that Jen and Marco had an open relationship. I think I read this elsewhere at some point too but regardless if ZOD SAYS IT'S TRUE THEN IT IS!
I asked my buddy (the one who I mentioned was friends with Rock from Commerce in that other thread) and asked if he heard anything. He said yeah, Harmon looked innocent but was anything but. Said he heard she was very sexual & swung both ways, and that she had a 3some with Negreanu & another chick at one point (go daniel!) He told me everyone knew they had an open marriage, and Marco was also bisexual. I asked if he knew any of this for sure and he said no but so many people talked about it for so many years that it was prob true. Also Marco was always broke & he was pretty much a trophy husband, but he was cool w/it cuz he was allowed to fuck around.
I think a lot of ppl are picturing this sweet family where Marco flipped out & left Jen and the kids, but to me it sounds like their whole situation was so weird, this was inevitable. I mean open relationships arent for me, but if I ever did one it sure wouldnt be with the mom of my kids.
Just found this too, says on Wiki that her net worth is $15 milly. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jennifer_Harman
If thats true then most of it had to be from her owning part of Full Tilt. Maybe since she isnt getting that $ anymore, plus barely playing poker, there is not really an income anymore so Marco decided to take his half & gtfo.
Jen looks great for her age. As a 26 year old, Id date Jen given the opportunity.
Just saying...
Marco's name should be changed to Marc-HO . He saw a opportunity and went after it like a talentless Euro . I feel bad for Jenn but love thats she's a little sexual naughty girl !!!!!
True to a certain extent but when you can't raise enough money and are playing on others money pooled together you can get gun shy against a guy with a bottomless bankroll who doesn't give a damn.
By that even some of the top pros don't have the mentality to play their best vs. Beal regardless of their experience where the bigger degens who don't give a shit will be the ones to have the biggest edge.
She has a good reputation as a strong cash player, but so did Barry Greenstein, and look what happened to him.
Truthfully, few were properly rolled for those big games, and the competiton is also so tough there that it's easy to go on a bad run and lose confidence.
I am skeptical of claims that she was a huge winner in those games. I think most of her money came from Full Tilt ownership, as she was one of the original owners. She wasn't a Howard Lederer, and she wasn't on the board, but I think she owned a fair piece of it.
Going way back (very early 2000s), Daniel used to talk about her a lot, and I used to read everything Daniel wrote. I think she was a midstakes limit holdem grinder (50-100 LHE), and then she got some sort of cash injection (I think this was pre Full Tilt $$ and it was an inheritance or outside investing or something along those lines) and suddenly she was playing the big limit games and crushing them. Daniel spoke very highly of her game, but she was his friend and he is not the most impartial person in the world, so who knows.
I have the book written about the corporation vs Andy Beal, but haven't read it in a while so I might be remembering things wrong. I don't know who wrote the book or how accurate it is, but from what I remember it says she did very well against Beal and was one of the preferred players they lined up against him.
Also, as far as him being a fish, according to the book he started out as a fish, but he worked on his game a lot, and he is an extremely intelligent person, and by the last session he had the corporation on the ropes and his A game was as good or better than most of theirs. But the problem is he would play long sessions against them one at a time where they were fresh and he wasn', and his game would degenerate, culminating in an epic tilt session against Ivey, where they kept raising the stakes and Ivey kept beating him until he quit and never came back.
