That get loud shit is fairly standard around the league, I've seen the exact same shit at other teams parks, most recently the game in Tampa Bay. I agree that it's corny as hell but it's not specific to Comerica Park.
I get it in Tampa Bay & Miami but Comerica, Chavez Ravine or Fenway you expect real fans who have a clue and would throw a beer bottle at the scoreboard with that idiotic message.
