Oh and I got to give you credit for being the biggest homer on and board I frequent. Nobody licks their guys nuts harder than you

I mean, coming from a sox fan this 1984 thing doesn't carry a whole lot of merit. Didn't you guys have like a near 100 year spell?

We move on to game 2. Why would I be pissed off? I don't let my feelings get wrapped up in these games as they mean 0 to me unless I am betting on them. Sure I like it when my team wins but when they lose they lose. I can't control any of that. Whoever wins wins. It doesn't effect me either way.

Scherzer and Verlander very good and can be a tough matchup but they aren't unbeatable and last I checked you have to win 4 games to win a series. Right?

Detroit has a better heart of the order and I would take their front 4 starters over Bostons. But as a full staff and full lineup from 1-9 Boston is better and we will see which works better for who in the race to win 4 games.
Detroit wasn't shut down by Lester but they did strand a bunch of guys, you were 1 hit by Anibal the Cannibal and CO. The fact that our bats were active and yours were non existent speaks volumes because of three reasons.

    1. Scherzer

    2. Verlander

    3. At some point we aren't just going to continually strand runners over and over and over again

We might have only won this game by 1 run but that bobbled catch saved 2 runs as well. You're being a little overly optimistic in my opinion but I don't mind, you're the Boston homer that started this thread after all.
calm down nerd it was a 1-0 win in a 7 game series

Scherzer getting a very nice price I'm tempted to fire on him but Clay Buchholz OVER 5 strikeouts at -120 seems decent too especially when Austin Jackson alone is good for three a game.

Not sure what book your looking at but all I know is I got Scherzer at +123 about 20 minutes ago for a small bet on Bovada which I seen it slightly higher and then about +115 which isn't too significant.

according to scores and odds the line opened at tigers-105 and now its boston -128 was wondering why such a drastic line move

I didn't look at the line until this morning but now on SBR I see it opened at Detroit -109 and Boston -101 so your right. It's hard to say so I'll just assuming lots of Boston homers pounded it hoping Buchholz would get the job done and thinking no way their Red Sox would get shut down like they did last again.
