so 40 players register for one drop, my boy scotty clark finishes 6th and gets 25 points even though he didn't cash?

Double fail. First the one drop is paying 20% of the field so if 40 enter 6th would get paid. Secondly is this little rule:
In order to receive points, a player must cash.

i haven't been paying attention and was hoping someone with some time to kill like yourself would fill me in
