The feud that started between Howard Stern and Opie & Anthony while both were employed by Infinity Broadcasting is reaching new levels on satellite radio with both parties taking shots at the other. But, while sitting in on Sean Hannity's program yesterday afternoon, Stern finally admitted to the long-rumored gag order that he had Mel Karmazin place on O&A when they were handling afternoon drive at WNEW/New York.
When Stern was asked by a caller about the gag order, he confirmed it by admitting, "That's right. I believe in censoring anyone who is my enemy." He also added, "I believe in censorship when it benefits me."

That's different - you're talking about some asshole in Corporate who fucked Howard over by reneging on his contract. I'm referring to the family of people who actually DO THE SHOW - the guys in the trenches, day in, day out, giving it their heart and soul - making it what it is.

It was actually ruined when someone had the idea to start a thread to re-hash a bunch of insignificant crap that happened on another forum. I was under the impression that everyone came here to get away from that.

I don't care and won't go back. If I cared about DD, I'd have dropped in long ago. It's been off my radar. In fact, I didn't even know about this forum till just two days ago when someone PM'd me on Facebook to tell me to get my ass over here.

We can definitely let the old drama die - I'm cool with that. I just wanted to get my thoughts out since I've been absent from the whole thing all this time.
