I feel like its imperative that Vegas1369 be given very strict parameters on how he is to operate the forum. Vegas has in the past shown a great affinity for flexing his e-power. Obviously he and I have had our beef, but im not even referring to that. There has been many other instances where he has admittedly tilted, made very poor decisions, then apologized. That is all fine and good, but he does it again and again and again and again. Eventually it becomes tiresome.

Its my honest opinion that giving him full and sole mod control over a forum is a bad idea. His MO is that he lives and breaths through the forums and this power goes to his head.

Honest questions- what is the direction you will be pointing the forum in? Will this site be uncensored? Is nudity allowed? How will trolls be handled? Will Vegas be allowed to ban members from VPR based on what they say on other forums? If someone is flaming Jasep on 2 + 2 is Vegas allowed to ban them from VPR? etc etc

We have 100% faith in Vegas' ability to moderate a forum effectively. He is one of the best mods across all sites and is a smart and fair mod.

A rules set will be completed and in place before launch. All of your questions will be addressed in the forum rules, you are welcome to read them when they are posted and use that information to decide what your opinion is of our site and forum.

As far as your last question, Vegas is allowed to do whatever he wants, he is as much a part of this project as anyone. He will address things that are out of the ordinary on a case by case basis. I will stand by any decision he makes because ultimately it will be done for the improvement and advancement of the site.

I won't give you a definitive answer because there are probably cases when it is completely justified and cases where it is not. It's not like you can try exercising some loop hole or whatever.

I am probably not as familiar with that situation as you think I might be, I remember it, but I don't remember all the details of it. That doesn't really matter though.

I already answered your question, I'm not sure what more you are looking for here. Vegas hasn't banned you from VPR, whatever he did at Donkdown may have been inline with the inner workings of that forum, I have no idea.

There are a handful of people who for whatever reason flat out don't like me. Drexel has his group of haters as well. China may have a couple detractors and apparently Vegas has the same... but in spite of that we are all still comfortable being in business with each other and working together...

The only answer I can give you is "It depends" until we look at exactly the circumstances that are presented... Until then this is just hypothetical....

It's not fair imo to ask what will happen on a forum that isn't up yet because a mod on another forum with an entirely different set of rules and objectives did something on that forum's behalf....

They completely trust my judgement based on knowing me and the decisions I have made over the last 5 years as a mod at DD. I have been given 100% control of the forums and my decisions will not be questioned. For example, if I decided to ban you right now for douching up this thread not one of the other owners would question it.
