The younger guys don't need as much time to heal so it would make sense for them to keep playing without any extended breaks to keep the flow that they might not be accustomed to.

Obviously this isn't the standard just more so common sense and having said that break or no break spurs would be favs vs pacers and dogs vs heat in the finals but what do you think is more likely to happen under these situations?

    spurs beat heat
    or
    pacers beat spurs?
Like the Pacers of the late '90s, they will put up a good fight before ultimately losing in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Agree totally about rest being preferable for old team.

As for the bolded, I think Spurs over Heat like 40-45%

    Pacers over Spurs like 20%

I agree BCR. This is likely the last shot for the Spurs so they will be going 10000%. With Wade injured or whatever the fack is wrong with him....the Heat aren't the same.

I love arguing with people who think the NBA is 100% legit and no fixing/shadiness goes on. It's the easiest of the major pro sports to rig if/when they want to and if people don't see very questionable stuff over the years then I don't know what else to say.

On a related topic, next season will be hilarious to watch all the teams tanking. 2014 draft is already being compared to the '84 or '03. 1 guy (Wiggins) with the most hype since LeBron, 4 others considered to have star potential, plus Marcus Smart who went back to school for who knows why. Finish with 1 of the 3 worst records and you're guaranteed to get in top 6 worst case scenario. There will be a lot of phantom 2nd half injuries next season.

Some of the MLB umpires this season have been awful, swear they are trying to rig some of the games. HR, no HR, safe, out, tag, no tag etc...

Really obvious calls, just blatantly being called the other way, more than once in some games. Hmm.

Starting to look rigged some of it.

So when you type "always", you mean "two thirds of the time". Got it. Thanks.

You do realize that we can all still read the first post of this thread where you state that the Pacers will absolutely get swept after the game 1 loss, right?
The way they lost game 1 I did think they were done. Game 2 i took over and they played well. I guess u cant read the post were I said Indiana had the best chance to beat the Heat while Druff was blabbing about Memphis in the Finals. I made that prediction while they were still playing the NY Knicks. Any day you want to sign up for a handicapping competition u Skinny, Pasty, Ugly, Big Nose Jew u tell me. Ill escrow money to Druff in a Heart beat.. Funny I am 3-1 In this series 5-1 if u count my live bet and halftime wager. I said closing Quarter's they are not good. Doesn't matter what quarter it is Milhouse. Indiana has closed 3 quarters out of 16 well and 3 is a stretch.

I am probably going to sit this game out for any real money. Logically, I think you have to bet the Heat, but I fucking hate them so much that they'd probably win by less than 7 and fuck me, and it would be lose/lose all around. I'm not laying some -370 ml number. It all comes down to the gimps hitting 3's. I can't see Allen/Battier/Miller staying this cold. They seem due to hit everything. Lebron will obv. get his, and this is the type of game where Chalmers usually pops his retarded head out of nowhere and gets sick hot. I keep trying to convince myself of a reason to take the Pacers, but I can't think of one. They are really not this good on offense, and they are a sub .500 road team, so despite outplaying them in Miami the first 2, it's really not standard with them. I might throw like $200 on the Pacers Ml just for added giggles if they pull a miracle, but it's stupid to waste a dollar betting Indy most likely.

Your referee tonight is Dan Crawford.....the Heat are 18-3 when he refs the games.

I like the Heat ML AND the points

Excellent, cutting edge analysis! Someone let the Pacers know this!

In other news, Floyd Mayweather is a good fighter.

    factoid:

Since the NBA went to its current playoff format in 1984, home teams are 16-2 in Game 7's played in the conference finals or NBA Finals
