The guy has degenerated to pretty much trolling every thread I post in, including ones like the WSOP BAP thread. He constantly breaks the rules here, and when I take counter-measures rather than banning him (such as removing his signature), he just gives me a big "fuck you" and circumvents it.
When I started this site, I said that I would not allow people here whose purpose was either to ruin the site or constantly troll me. I even pre-banned a few people whom I simply did not like and did not want on my forum. Since then, I have banned/restricted VERY few people.
Plenty of people have insulted/trolled/argued with me, and just about all of them are here with full access.
fluffer routinely shows disrespect for the few rules I have on this forum, so I've given him a nap.
I don't ask much from the users here. I don't even run ads on this place or try to push any products or services. I don't ask for people to like or respect me. But when I ask for someone to please respect certain rules of the system and they refuse to over a long period of time, I don't want them here. I especially don't want them here if I put restrictions on their account for routinely breaking the rules, and they circumvent them.

Fluffer is harmless Druff. It's not like you have to worry about him stocking your family or some bullshit like that. He's just having a little fun and obviously hitting close to home on his jabs.
I don't think Fluffer has been out of bounds; maybe it would be if Druff hadn't started a thread about weight loss and posted an LOL plan to address the problem. Surely he knew this would invite trolls.
Lord Druff can obv swing the ban hammer how he sees fit but it feels a little excessive. He didn't roll or scam anybody and his trolling isn't really malicious; he just makes fun of Druff for being fat and unhealthy.

fluffer wasn't just insulting or criticizing me. Lots of other people do that here, and none of them are banned or restricted.
He was trolling every single thread I was posting in, including threads that should never be trolled such as my WSOP BAP thread and the Radio Schedule Change thread. If you want to say that he should be able to troll me in the weight loss thread about my weight, I can understand that. But the guy was following me around from thread-to-thread and trying his hardest to troll and irritate me.
I don't want that here. As I said, I want this site to mostly be a free-speech environment and I don't want to be exempt from people's harsh words. At the same time, I run this site as a hobby. After all the time and effort I put into this site, I don't want to deal with some anonymous asshole intentionally hassling me in nearly every thread I'm involved. It's just not fun for me, and I don't want it.
But it actually went beyond just the trolling. The guy also refused to follow the rules here. As you know, this site doesn't have many rules. fluffer managed to break almost all of them, some repeatedly. I let him stay here for over a year, despite the fact that about 90% of my rule break warnings were to him, and the other 10% to everyone else combined. I'm not even exaggerating here. I'm just sick of it.
Finally, he wasn't just engaging in innocent, humorous ribbing. Much of it was really nasty, mean-spirited crap, and while it didn't hurt my feelings (especially because most of it wasn't true), this wasn't just a happy-go-lucky guy having fun with a few zinger one-liners. Go read his recent posts and you'll see what I'm talking about.
If your main purpose on this site is to hassle and troll me in every thread, you won't last long here.
If you can't follow the site's few simple rules, you won't last long here.
Everyone else is welcome, and as you've seen, there have been very few bans/restrictions handed out in the 14 months this site has existed.
