Four years later, it's finally time to explain my situation with "toots"

I did not start talking to Toots until 1-2 months had passed after I had broken up with Miri.

There was no cheating going on.

I started reading this thread now, and after reading the 2 questions on the first page by vwls and whoever the other poster was(*edit* abrown), I thought why would those questions matter? I was even more surprised to see you answer them. Don't get me wrong, it is moral and all to not philander, but that wasn't the reason this was such a big deal...as far as I have gathered. I thought it was merely responding to MWH's claims of sexual harassment/assault.

I'm just curious why you felt the need to type that response, outside of simply responding to long-known posters, which I guess would make sense.
