WSOP of Bracelet winners previously (don't know if they still do) got lifetime Diamond level status in Total Rewards.
Diamond is quite a bit different but still has a lot of great perks, like the lounges that always have free food and basically cutting to the front of every line.
There are now multiple Diamond levels, but Seven Stars is the highest level (it now has multiple levels as well).
It isn't because the comps are still at the discretion of the casino.
Technically they are still based on your ADT, and there is a natural presumption that if you are Seven Stars that your ADT is high enough to support the free rooms.
You will notice how I asked to discard the comped rooms in my first post, that was because under my system I think abuse of the free rooms would cause a pretty big spotlight to get shined on me.
Obviously, the casinos are not out to give away money so anytime they run +EV stuff you have to be careful how you rub it in their faces.
This is half true. It depends upon whether you use a host to book the free rooms, or if you do so through the online or 1-800 number.
If you use the online/800-number method, they won't notice you.
If you use a host, yes, they might look into your play. But probably not in the way you think. The host doesn't give a shit if you are somehow racking up tier points faster than expected. They just want their cut of your losses, so they want you to play long enough to justify the room.
Once you are Seven Stars, you can always use the 800 number or online (I prefer the 800 number, because online often rejects you for no reason) to book rooms, and you will pretty much fly under the radar, even if you stay there for 200+ days per year.
No, I don't.
But I don't hate them for doing their job, even if that job is to entice you to come to their casino to lose money.
What bothers me is their "what have you done for me really, really lately" syndrome.
So let's say you come to Vegas, play 50 hours total, and lose a shitload of money.
Then your next trip comes up and you ask your host, "Hey, I lost a ton of money last time. Can I have a suite and a food comp?"
So let's say they give you the suite and the food comp, and you decide that you're just not in a gambling mood this trip, and barely play.
Your host will be PISSED and think you screwed them over. They will be very uncooperative next time, and probably make you prove your play first before they give you anything. So let's say you ask them for a food comp on the next trip. They will say, "Sorry, your play last time didn't justify it. Charge the food to your room and I'll see what I can do based upon your play this time."
So they would actually rather you have 3 moderate play sessions consecutively than one really big one followed my two small ones, even if the latter adds up to more money for them. Why? Because hosts have a mentality of, "The past is irrelevant, other than what it means for the future." That means they don't give a shit how much you made them so far, unless it means you will be playing in a similar fashion going forward.
I actually think the whole "host" model is antiquated, except for really high rollers who still need coddling. Most hosts aren't doing a lot for the casino's bottom line, and are getting paid a lot.
The Annual Benefit of being a Seven Star Member can be worth 20k or more a year depending on the player. A lot of our comps are done by the hosts and are regulated by our play. Each player will experience a different amount of comps based on their play. I would say mine comps per year are maybe worth about 10k with taking advantage of all the free rooms and free play and dinners.
I have been a seven star for a little over a year. I am also in the top 100 at a property which comes with some sick stuff such as once a month a gift 500-1500 value (sometimes literally a 1500 dollar gift card for a store). As a top 100 you also get 3 10x rc rc credit offers and 1,000 in free play vouchers extra. I get about 750 free play a week. Here is my question... I have not gave significant action in a couple months and my weekly freeplay is at 750 a week and has only gone up; what is the long term as a seven star top 100 that is not giving action in terms of continuing to get good freeplay when you have given big in past, in 2013 I had 1m Tier Score. I am grinding the freeplay every week and hitting them for a nice amount weekly as well as eating 200 dollar meals a week free, free suites, sometimes presidential etc. I have been up all night playing poker so this may be a ramble. Again question is how long before they zero me on freeplay if ever as a 7 star?

I'd be fascinated to see how they treat a seven star earned through wsop.com altho it's nearly impossible achieve.
