Yeah, considering that he probably should have kept quiet about it.

Jeannie is a very nice woman, I don't want to see her looking bad.

I likely would've got in anyway, but it's true that Jeannie helped me out and overall was very nice. The only negative reaction that I really took to heart from all this was Jeanne's. I legitimately felt bad when I read what she wrote.

The situation has nothing to do with her. But I can see how she would be offended. I won't offer an apology for stealing from Stars, because it wouldn't be a sincere apology. If I actually felt bad about it, I would return the money. I can make an apology for making a thread about it, but that's about it.

Alright Druff, from his own post Plol considers it stolen money. Now what do you say about using stolen money in your freeroll?

Doesn't matter to me what he calls it. I see it as stealing from a site that has stolen from him and other US players, so I don't see a big deal, especially since it occurred from an error on their part, rather than an active attempt to roll them.

I do agree he owes Jeannie an apology for posting and bragging about it, though.

To run a site named PokerFraudAlert and then basically laugh at this jerkoff stealing money from a company is hypocrisy of the highest order and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Lose this eye for an eye bullshit. Stealing is stealing, whether its from Pokerstars or the Pope is irrelevant. Karma will catch up with PLOL, probably from an early AIDS related death but you should be ashamed of the way you handled that situation. If someone makes a mistake and they don't catch it then fuck them. Nice way of thinking there your highness.

Also great job basically throwing Jesep under the bus. The guy hasn't done a single thing shady on this forum and he hasn't been anything but generous with his time and money regarding your website and its members.

You took the biggest, nastiest dump I've ever witnessed in my life on your show last night. Keep up the good work.
So let me get this straight...

    Put yourself in PLOL's shoes.

You just came home from the PCA, where you played in a $1025 tournament that was bungled so badly that most people who played had an almost zero chance of cashing. You brought it to Stars' attention via 2+2, and after Lee Jones promised an investigation and subsequent action, the ultimate solution is to screw the rightful winners out of thousands of dollars each.

Then you think back and recall that Pokerstars stole as much as $24.99 from every US player (yourself included) through their obnoxious cashout policy of FPPs after black Friday.

Then you turn on your computer and see that they accidentally put an extra $1100 in your account, that you can easily cash out with no legal consequence.

Do you SERIOUSLY e-mail Stars and tell them to take their $1100 back? Even after all of the above?

If so, I'm sure you've been taken advantage of by many people in your life.

Pokerstars ALWAYS looks out for its own interests.

You need to look out for yours, not theirs.

If you are a really, super-duper nice guy, you take the $1100 and give it back to the Stars players who were collectively cheated out of their FPPs.

But you definitely don't give it back to the company that stole so much US money in the first place (including yours).
Druff, you have to understand. I don't steal, ever. Period point blank. There's a little something called integrity involved. If I've been taken advantage of then that their problem, not mine. I've got a clean slate.

So its ok to steal but not ok to publicly brag about it? Way to keep it classy.

in plol's situation it would be very easy to rationalize the cashout

they made a mistake that cost him ev in the zoom tourney, and then, they again made a mistake but this time it benefited plol

a great majority of us would have no problem calling that a wash

the problem was he posted it here with the intentions of sharing the story with a small group of people but this isn't a private chat room

whether plol could have gotten into the pokerstars party or not, he asked jeannie to get him in and she hooked him up because she's not only a nice person, but a good ambassador for pokerstars

This morning I was contacted privately by PokerStars. At this time I am contemplating my options.

Now's your chance to do the right thing, PLOL.
If you weren't going to do it on your own, then maybe a little nudge from Pokerstars will help.

You REALLY don't think it's wrong to withdraw money that you know is not yours into your bank account?

If a phone company left an erroneous credit on my phone bill, would it be the right thing to keep quiet about it and not say anything? Probably not, but I would do it anyway and so would most people. In any event, I offered a deal to PokerStars that involved me giving money back, but only if a large portion of the refunded money goes directly to a charity of their choosing. I am currently waiting on a response from them.
