Your feedback on this fund?
First, about 20 years ago, I was flowing American Century's Real Estate fund as it was doing well and had a good track record. Over the years, I lost track of the fund as it's performance went downward. I eventually ended up cashing out of the fund.
Second, over the last 10+ years, I wanted to invest in precious metals (PM) and bought physical silver, still own it today. I always wanted to get into some sort of mutual fund type investing, but didnt see anything out there.
Next, tonight I was looking around American Century's website and found their global gold fund and an impressive return.
Do you think this PM fund is a good long term buy or somewhat a flash in the pan? The minimal buy in is $2500, not bad. I am considering it.
Vampire Druff- What do you think?Objective- The investment seeks to realize a total return (capital growth and dividends) consistent with investment in securities of companies that are engaged in mining, processing, fabricating or distributing gold or other precious metals throughout the world.
