Your front yard should look like this. Where would the Dodgers be without Japanese players?

Yamamoto has been so good. All I ever care about is what did they do in the playoffs? He’s had ice in his veins.

    Bullpen game tomorrow for LA?

Or Glasnow will start despite coming in tonight?

Dodgers bats are still dead we missed a huge opportunity.

No idea why we went Vladdy Bichette then Varsho. That is normally Kirk and if you’re going to switch then move up Barger or Clement.

Ohtani rules say he has to open if you want him in the lineup.

There is chatter that Ohtani’s legs looked tired. Normal Ohtani woulda scored. Maybe they have a chat with his interpreter when things settle down.

Wonder if Kirk is hurt (wrist).
Springer is gonna be crazy sore tomorrow.

Thank god for the SN app Simp.

Yes, Dodgers were lucky to have won this game. They basically had one inning where Gausman had a few hiccups, and then the Blue Jays could never capitalize on their opportunities. The 9th was largely bad luck, as the double play was the result of a batted ball which looked like a hit to everyone, then somehow hung in the air long enough to be caught.

Glasnow only three 3 pitches, so he should be fine. The question is whether they start Ohtani, so he can pitch without having to be removed from the lineup when they switch him out for a different pitcher.

Glasnow, Sheehan, and probably Ohtani are expected to have the ball tomorrow. Dodgers are -136 at the moment on BOL.

Hernandez was playing about 15 to 20 feet closer than normal because of a left handed batter with little opposite field power, also he wanted to hold the runner on second to a one base advance on a single...and he got a very good jump...normal depth and the ball falls in...Ruiz also made a good pick of the throw...

Why did they send Springer, who can barely run due to the injury, and can't slide?

    Dumb.

BTW since the season starts on March 25 (March 26) for most teams, the Dodgers and Blue Jays will only have TWO calendar months with no baseball, and just three with no regular/post season baseball. That's never happened before, to my knowledge.

    December/January will have no baseball.

    February will be preseason.

March will be the regular season.

It will be just 3 3/4 months between today and the first day of the regular season for the Dodgers and Jays.

They’ve used Springer as a pinch runner

He's injured now. He can't run. Nor can Bichette, for same reason.

Nor can Kirk because... he makes me look thin.

    Wrong.

Since Springers return he has pinch run. I believe it was for Kirk.

Bichette was out for a knee injury.

Kirk is a catcher. They remove your wheels after 3 seasons.

I stand corrected. It was Straw who pinch ran for Kirk.

Well, anyone can run faster than Kirk. He's the actual slowest player in baseball.

Did you see Springer when he was caught in the 1st? He didn't even attempt to slide or maneuver around it.

Anyway, this doesn't matter now. Smith's passed ball (he's been horrible defensively this series) set up a chain of fail which led to Bichette's 3-run HR.

I didn't like Ohtani coming back out there to face the top of the lineup. He didn't have it, and was lucky to get out of 2 innings.

    Roberts fail once again.

Also how is Addison Barger impossible to get out?

This guy hit .240 in the regular season.
