Free money for Kalshi in the meantime, as this sits for 20 years without resolving.
Though I might place money on, "Will Nick Fuentes come out as gay before 2028?" Any market like that?

The effective way to argue with someone in a cult is to simply show a video of Nick mocking Trump. Mickey is a full blown Jonestown level cult member. You’ll have to quote it for him to see. He thinks Trump is a virile savior. This will bring him back into your fold.

It somehow went almost entirely overlooked that he turned anti-Trump at the same exact time as a friend and associate of his did who was later revealed to be a paid Russian shill - Lauren Chen.

This entire thing was memory holed. Now Google AI even suggest she was being paid to spread pro-Trump propaganda. Her and several other "conservative influencers" - Fagtes being one of them, suddenly started posting negative things about Trump simultaneously.
It's really disappointing to see this guy even have his own thread on here. Nothing about him is original, it's the same tired, recycled Jew hate nonsense from 4chan's POL board - literally just the same decade old rehashed takes on everything, I have yet to hear him say a single original thing. He doesn't even strike me as that intelligent. And I know it's not that big of a deal to some but he really is a closet case, and anyone who can't be open about their sexuality can't be trusted.
Yeah as soon as the Lauren Chen scandal was revealed, tons of dumb libs were gloating on social media, "See! See! We told you that Russia was trying to make Trump win! He's in their pockets! Notice how much money they gave to these conservative influencers!"
Then I pointed out that these conservative influencers turned anti-Trump while being Russia-funded, and that clearly that was the plan all along. It's far more effective for Russia to pay conservative influencers to bash Trump and try to provoke Republican voter apathy than it is to fund liberal influencers who just preach to their own choir.
None of them would accept this, even though none could explain why Russian-funded conservative influencers would be bashing Trump during election season, if the goal was to help him win.
I do believe the Trump bashing from conservative influencers comes in three flavors:
1) The aforementioned Russian money
2) A desire to appeal to the Jew-hating alt-right, to where Trump can be bashed for being too pro-Israel
3) Fake Republicans who are now courting a left wing audience in the "I was once a Republican and am too ethical to support the Trump GOP" vein. Joe Walsh and The Bulwark are good examples of this.
wtf is lauren chen?
and instead of nick, let's get more levin. he's really got the american blue collar pulse down.
Every influencer on the right is a paid shill for someone. Tucker was talking about the wonderful Russian way of life two years ago. As was Tulsi. As are a hundred other right wing relevant figures. Now Israel has made no secret it has half of the second team influencers and all the politicians on their payroll.
To be honest, I trust the anti-Semitic kid who was anti-Semitic when he was 18 and before anyone had a reason to pay him to speak his mind more than the rest of the right wing media whores.
Not that I agree with him, but I believe he believes what he says more than the others who have made careers out of being right wing shills.
On X I read a speculation that Tucker actually hosted Fuentes to do damage control, as he realizes the the populist woke right has actually gone too far, to the point it is going to split the Republican Party in half, and give the country back to the Dems after Trump is gone .
I dont know if Tucker is being paid by Qatar or not. I would guess he is, but maybe not. Regardless of why, I think it is pretty obvious Tucker's objective is just to weaken Israel geopolitically as much as possible, and he doesn't really want to take things much farther than that. And he certainly doesn't want the Republican Party to go into a Civil War, and hand the country to the Democrat Party.
And he is attempting to reign Fuentes in to mitigate where things are going. Which is Fuentes and his Groyper army going after any Republican politician with any hope of winning the Presidency for not being "based" and antisemitic enough. I dont know if it is true, but social media is reporting that Tucker is (was?) pushing Vance to run for the Presidency when Trump is done. But Fuentes going so hard after Vance is complicating matters.
Whether or not Fuentes is genuine, I would say his "vision" of Christian white males joining together as an identity group to "take back the country" is not going to happen. And the more visibility he gets, the more he is a liability to the Republican Party at this point.
And as Druff stated, anti-Trump Republicans and Democrats are going to pick up on this and make Fuentes the face MAGA as much as possible.
One of my favorite social media personalities, Richard Hanania, who I would describe as an anti-Trump small "c" conservative has been posting non stop 'promoting' Fuentes, where I feel it is pretty obvious his intentions are to sabotage MAGA by promoting Fuentes as the face of it.
oh you mean this which was waiting on me as if X heard you...
sure, sure.

I don’t believe Tucker is doing damage control to anything beyond his lessening influence. I think he had him on for the same reason that Kirk was done with Israel. That they see the writing on the wall. That neo-con shit is dead. Tuckers whole show is now yeah I argued for all that shit that ruined the country and I’m sorry and now wants to run away from it as much as possible.
You can’t be pro-Israel and effectively pretend to not be a neocon. No one actually believes Iran is an actual threat to the US. To spout that shit is 2005.
Vance is the most beatable guy ever. He’s a pudgy dork with zero charisma. The problem is I haven’t seen a Democrat with even a semblance of a message or charisma. So the pudgy dork who just carries water for the technocrats might be the chalk. But he’s not some heir to MAGA. He’s about the furthest thing from the alpha guy the fat MAGA guys imagine themselves to be. No one is. Trumps a one off. If there is an heir to that movement I have yet to see it.
But Fuentes is more entertaining than any of the right wing personalities. It’s not like I agree with him. He thinks anyone who got a Covid shot is retarded. He’s an immature kid. But it’s a testament to how annoying the rest of the right wing media is that he’s the rising star by a mile and they are all dying off in relevance.
I view the right wing civil war with glee. I laugh at how all the rising stars are basically loons and white nationalists. That’s what they absolutely deserve.
JD Vance is a weather vane.
In contrast it appears Fuentes was always Fuentes based on what little I heard of the Tucker interview. However, Nick is a creep and he became less entertaining to me.
You could never say the shit I heard on Tucker a decade ago. Now it has a growing audience. America. A nation of political loons.
At what age do you retire the zoomer hair-do? There has to be a number.
I think Tucker's recent anti-Semitic, alt-right turn came from a combination of resentment of Fox News and a desire to grab an audience in his post-Fox life.
His old audience wasn't going to enthusiastically follow him, because it was comprised of a lot of old people who don't watch YouTube or use social media actively.
Thus, he had to go for a new demographic, and the natural pivot was to the anti-Semitic alt-right.
Tucker has always been somewhat of a phony. For a long time he claimed to be a regular guy and a man of the people, but in reality he was from an incredibly rich family. He didn't even need the money he made on Fox News.
He recently pushed back upon a claim that he's worth $50m -- claiming that figure is high.
The $50m claim is indeed incorrect, but it's LOW, by a wide margin.
Tucker's goal now is to remain relevant, and he's morphed into what he believes will achieve it.
The GOP and Trump are so blatantly corrupt and support for Israel is so unpopular that there's no way
they're not working on rigging elections. Zionists have bought up even more media and big tech
but that might not be enough.
Look for Trump, the GOP, the billionaire donors and corporations to start putting in place the ability to rig elections.
We'll get some Oracle and/or Palantir voting machines w software and AI from some Kushner funded Israeli start up or some shit.
Pretty wild Fox News clip circulating of Vance being asked directly at a TPUSA rally yesterday what he is going to do about Jews persecuting Christians. And he basically side stepped it, without ever stating there was anything wrong with the premise of the question.
The right is moving this direction so quickly that we are looking at a new paradigm the next election cycle. Not mid terms, but presidential. During the GOP debates, one candidate will be asked do they pledge to not receive any money from AIPAC. Do they promise to not send aid or arms to Israel. That will be the new litmus test.
You’re going to have the Cruz contingent saying they only run to serve Israel, and then the Israel haters. There are still a lot of evangelicals, but there are a lot drifting towards a new nationalistic type of evangelical. Hell that the question was at a TPUSA rally is as surprising as him dodging it.
When JD has went from ardent Israel supporter to not wanting to discuss it in a span of months, you can see they finally looked at the numbers and realized how unpopular it is to be an open sycophant. Giant blindspot to not see spouting the America First bullshit and spending as much time in Israel as your own country was going to blow up in their faces.
The left being anti-Israel is muted at this point. They are against the war, but all the personal vitriol towards Jews themselves is coming from people you associate with the right. I don’t know who I would name as a prominent left wing vocal Israel hater. Like I don’t know a relevant figure defined by that. I can think of like 6 right wing personalities with millions and tens of millions of followers whose main position is hating Jews. And they are the biggest figures on the internet right.
Trump openly courted these people and now it’s chaos.
I am guessing the person asking the question was a groyper “plant,” or someone aligned in this direction. And the goal of the question was to put Vance in a compromising position.
But it looks like this is going to be the future of the Republican Party. Politicians having to go through political purity tests to prove they are based and antisemetic enough. And if they don’t they will be relentlessly attacked from the right, mainly online.
And as you said, there is no reason to think Vance, or anyone else in the Party, has the “aura” and political skills to navigate this.
It isn’t a radical position to require our politicians to be loyal to our nation and our nation alone.
