Addison Barger was a skinny high school kid when he was drafted by the Jays.

Jays packed 40 pounds of muscle on a small frame.

Grand Slam in World Series from a 6th rounder. That’s a nice farm system.

Yeah my advisement to possibly bet Snell for MVP obv was wasted money.

Yamamoto very much alive though. That +3500 Tellafriend bet has great value right now. If we see another performance like that and the Dodgers win the series, I think Tella cashes that one. In fact I regret not betting that myself -- and not just because it's on the way to possibly hitting.

So I was price-watching today not because I was going to go (I can't make it), but because I am considering tomorrow, and I wanted to see how the last minute prices worked.

I found that World Series games you're often best off buying right before gametime. The last World Series I attended (2018 -- the 18 inning one), I literally bought the tickets on Ben's iPad while driving to the stadium. Even though he was only 8, he thought I was crazy to leave the house with no tickets. But it worked out, as we got very good seats for a bargain price (compared to what everyone else was paying, that is). And we got to see a literal double game.

Anyway, today the prices fell to low-$600s for nosebleeds, and $1300-ish for the type of seats I usually buy. Still too much. You guys know what a huge fan I am, but I just can't justify laying out $2600 to go to a baseball game. So I might not end up going at all.

I guess the one upside to the Dodgers losing will be that Game 4 might be cheaper. If by some chance they go down 3-1, which I really don't want to see, then Game 5 will REALLY see its price plummet.

But I don't even feel like I absolutely need to go. I saw winning World Series games in 2017 and 2018. After the '88 series -- a time when I hadn't yet attended a postseason game -- I vowed that I would go see a Dodgers World Series game in person. I was only 16 at the time, so I couldn't exactly buy the tickets myself (even though I had the ability to drive myself there). I had to wait until I was 45 until the Dodgers finally made the World Series again (which I totally didn't expect), but I did it -- and again the next year.

I'm fine watching it at home. Ben and I went to two exciting postseason games this season, both of which saw the Dodgers win. I won't feel like I missed out if I don't go to a World Series game. But if the price is right tomorrow, I'll open the Jew wallet and go.

    Jays +165 tonight

I'm biased but they have seen Glasnow before and Bo is back in the lineup which makes for a much better starting lineup.

Max is old, but is a dog.

Edit: I'll be on Jays tonight and tomorrow (if they lose tonight). Will be + money again tomorrow.

I don't think anyone else will be on the Jays today/tomorrow.

Edit. Added another unit at +195 after jays hit in first

6.5 with these two pitchers and both teams bullpens is a gift

If you are fading Ohtani tomorrow I have to do some self reflection. Dying to see the line now

I hate seeing Alejandro Kirk come up.

That short fat guy who looks like a ball is just destroying the Dodgers.

Trust me, I wasn't thrilled to see him, but he got the guy to end that brutal 5th.

The one bright side here is that we will see the Blue Jays bullpen soon, and that's not exactly stellar either (though better than the Dodgers).

So impressed with Mookie's SS defense this year. Honestly didn't see that coming.

Such athletic talent to make this transition to such a tough position in the middle of his MLB career, and now he's making one great play after another. Made up for some of the offensive struggles earlier in the season due to the Influenza A SuperAIDS aftermath.

I was so so so so wrong. He orbits Ohtani’s two way athleticism the way Mercury orbits the sun. Maybe Venus

    Sure, I’ll try shortstop.

What if Bo Bichette comes to town? Just read he allegedly turned down four offers in the draft to be a Blue Jay. Hmmm

Is Ohtani gonna get his 15 hours of sleep tonight?

Who is coming out in the 8th for the Dodgers?
