Israel's next tactic was to slow down their offensive, figuring that if they make it a humane war, people will change their minds. - Hamas repeatedly posted pictures of emaciated children, alleging Israel was starving everyone as part of their genocide. - Hamas stole over 80% of the aid sent in by the UN, yet claimed Israel was either blocking it or stealing it themselves.

I dont think that is fair. When Trump took over the Republican Party he made it clear you are either a sycophant or you are the enemy. And Trump goes after his perceived enemies. And given the Democrat Party's forays into radical left wing anti-Zionism, Islamism and socialism (Elizabeth Warren is still tweeting about how we need to break up big tech) the American Jewish community couldn't really afford to make Trump an enemy on top of this.

I dont think Israel, Jews or more generally the technocrat business elite (including a lot of non Jews) really had a better option than aligning with Trump the way partisan politics have polarized. I agree with you that playing footsie with Evangelicals and more generally the racist, anti-semitic, low human capital right is going to work out long term; but I am not sure there was a lot of better options.

Also, lets be frank. They are higher IQ and not as racist, stupid or poor; but the religious Jewish right is as wacky as the Evangelical right when it comes to Zionism and greater Israel.

If people like Tellafriend don't want American tax dollars spent on assisting Israel, that's fine. I can respect that.

But then just say that.

Admit that Hamas is a collection of brutal religious fanatics who actually want a real genocide, while putting out false propaganda that it's Israel trying to exterminate them.

You can concede that Israel isn't the bad guy in this situation, while at the same time saying, "We have enough problems at home, we shouldn't be sending them our money."

They are living under extremely different circumstances than we are here in the US, where our only "foreign invasion" issue involves too many illegal immigrants flooding into the US, and the drug cartels pushing their stuff over the border. We are not under existential threat. Israel is.

It’s not like Nick Fuentes or Candace Owens or the vast majority of those speaking out against Israel short of college students really give a fuck about Palestinians. And college students generally will take up the cause of anyone darker than Brad Pitt. They are consistently bleeding hearts. If it was Native Americans, they’d be protesting. So I don’t view their activity last year as anything new.

What’s new and what I told you was coming 5 years ago was that if the right continued to embrace the conspiracy shit, it would eventually backfire on Jews.

Somewhere buried in that Covid thread I think, but a conversation we certainly had here, was me telling you about seeing this local guy over in PA and how it threw me that he was like the most popular guy in town and he had a large Swastika tattoo. Like a local biker business guy who paid for all the kids school lunch programs. He was Iraq vet. Nice guy in general to me because I’m basically an Aryan poster guy at first glance and it’s not like I have any desire to talk politics with a bunch of hillbillies. But I’m a people watcher.

I just thought about the difference between then and my childhood. That mixture of conspiracy that if you were smart, could see it was essentially blaming Jews. Most didn’t take it that way because they’re dumb, but I knew someone would eventually take them that direction.

You handwaved it away at the time like always. Some rural dude in PA wasn’t indicative of any larger movement according to you and I privately laughed at your naïveté. As if you had a better idea of who exactly MAGA was when I live surrounded by them while you interact with them on the internet. Like being in the LA suburbs gives you a feel.

This is like a perfect storm of bad shit as far as feelings towards Jews go. The tipping point that made it bipartisan and populist was Epstein/Iran. That’s when it went from fringe to mainstream and public sentiment shifted largely. It was long coming but that was the moment it all came together.

I have no idea who sponsored Epstein, but it sure seems likely Jews were involved. Following it up and at almost the exact moment bombing Iran was bad optics. Then the Bondi and Patel idiocy where they pretended they didn’t just act like the Epstein file release was the biggest issue facing America for years and playing dumb.

It made Trump look beholden to Jews at a time he was clearly covering up the Epstein files for whatever reason. That was a giant opening.


Their continued missteps since just make it worse. As much as you’d like America First and Israel first to be complimentary, it isn’t.

I have always valued Jewish people because of their contributions to science and the world. I genuinely like your people. In a world getting dumber by the day, I am for more smart people. But when I see Netanyahu I don’t see a smart guy. I listen to him and if he was ever smart, that time has passed.

A secular progressive culture that values education and science and the arts, all areas where Jews excel, was what provided decades of prosperity free of anti-semitism.

Now you’re tied to retards who don’t value any of that. And our debt is ballooning. It’s the tipping point. And everyone knows where it went sideways. The Middle East wars and bank bailouts. The last place you want people looking if you’re a Jew.

Muslim chants of death to America is and has always been entirely about our support of Israel. Their way of life isn’t western. They’d view us as immoral demons, but what Stone Age people think is irrelevant. They aren’t a threat. They never do 9/11 if they don’t hate us because we support Israel. If we said fuck Israel tomorrow they’d build statues of Trump all over the Middle East and he’d be second to Mohammed.

So the we need Israel as some foothold in the Middle East isn’t a real argument when support of Israel is the only reason we need a foothold in the Middle East. Give Israel up and they love us.

You like to think all those Jews who excelled in America post WW2 and aligned themselves with Democrats were dumb. They weren’t the dumb ones. Those were people who had recently seen what happens when the fascist right seizes control. Those are Jews who saw the whole playing field and made a smart choice and realized a secular culture that values science and education would allow them to flourish with their natural skills.

But then some Jews started thinking let’s join with the morons who hate that they didn’t finish school and have shit jobs, who hate science, who hate medicine up until they need it, who love to sue when schools become more secular and start removing the 10 commandments and other assorted fairy tales. But those are the smart Jews to you.

I'm afraid there are some inaccuracies in what you wrote above.

Jews aligned with the Democratic Party because they were once in the lower class of this nation. The Jewish immigrants of the early 1900s largely toiled in the factories and other shit jobs, for low pay and often dangerous conditions. Democrats at the time were supportive of workers rights, safety regulations, and advocating for the poor. The choice for the Jews was obvious, especially given that there was a fair amount of anti-Semitism at the time within the Republican Party, and this was absent from the Democrats. Had I grown up in the early 1900s under such circumstances, I likely would also have chosen to be a Democrat.

Jews eventually rose up to become successful and many of them wealthy due to a culture stressing education, smart monetary decisions (insert joke here), and valuing of establishing careers.

Rather than join the more rich-people-friendly Republicans once successful, Jews remained aligned with the Democratic Party partially due to family influence (you are far more likely to take on the politics of your parents), and partially due to a feeling of obligation to help the less fortunate. Jews remembered that they were once part of the "less fortunate" demographics in this country.

Unfortunately, over time the Democratic Party became stronger on left wing social policy, as well as the embrace of communist and socialist values. Nothing about this sort of thing aligns itself with Jewish culture, but given their longtime family histories as Democrats, many Jews became brainwashed that these were the correct positions to take. It's really like any partisan nowadays. The party tells them how they should feel about a long list of subjects, and they parrot that almost 100%.

For decades I told fellow Jews to get into the present. It wasn't 1920 anymore, and they weren't working 12-hour days in the factories. These were successful professionals who were voting to tax themselves at confiscatory rates, supporting policy which gave hardened criminals chance after chance, and searching for victim classes rather than emphasizing unity.

This has given rise to the bizarre phenomenon of the self-hating Jew. It's one thing for a goy like you or Tellafriend to be critical of Israel. But to be Jewish and barely affected by watching the Hamas barbarians slaughter your own people, and then repeat phony "genocide" propaganda... it's just insane. Any Jew knows how much the radical Muslims hate us and want us dead. These Jews allowed their politics to fuel an obsession to support the perceived brown underdogs over the perceived white oppressors. This overruled their Jewish identity. They were willfully ignorant to the history of Muslim terrorists and their overtly stated desires to murder all Jews. It became an oppressed-versus-oppressor war in their twisted minds.



I can tell you that, until October 2023, I was not concerned about right wing anti-Semitism. It was isolated in small pockets, and where it existed it was more snide remarks behind the scenes rather than any real confrontation or discrimination.

Over the past two years, the ugly Jew hatred has spiked by orders of magnitude, for the reasons I stated in one of my other recent posts. This occurred on BOTH the left and right. You are acting as if I am breaking bread with a party full of uneducated rubes who hate and resent my people, and are eschewing the tolerant intellectuals who want to welcome me with open arms.

There's a reason why a closeted, arm flapping weirdo Tim Walz like was selected as Kamala's VP, instead of popular Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro. Dems didn't need more votes in Minnesota, but definitely needed them in PA. However, there was real concern within the Democratic Party that a large portion of their base might stay home if a dirty Jew was on the ticket.

I did dismiss in 2020 the threat of white supremacy and right wing Jew hatred. At the time, it was not prominent enough to be a real threat. After 10/7, this changed because the right wing anti-Semites had their moment to stoke Jew hatred, and they discovered an unexpected ally in the far left. The loud nutjobs from both sides found common ground in Jew bashing, and you see the results.

It seems you believe that one day I will come to realize I made a mistake by allying myself with a party which is increasingly anti-Semitic. However, if I were to switch to the other side, I would encounter the exact same thing, just presented in a different way.

If I were in college right now, I'd feel a hell of a lot more comfortable saying "I'm Jewish and a big supporter of Israel" at a College Republicans meeting than I would in a meeting with any left wing groups. Do you disagree?
