Dolly Parton, 79, just cancelled her upcoming shows for "medical reasons"...

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/oth...nt/ar-AA1NwECw

Not shocking, but still makes you wonder how they have the gaul to charge $2100 for Nose Bleed seats to her Now postponed Vegas shows???

I was gonna check out the Eagles if I get tickets for $250 or less. Not great value, but they are one of my bucket list bands and I'm so Glad I saw Ozzy Years ago prior to his passing!

I can also add Scott Weiland, Chester Bennington, Michael Jackson, and Dimebag Darrell to my "Glad I saw them perform live before they Croaked" list over the past 25 years!!!

Another personal take on this topic- I think alot of people read this forum and consider the information presented. This is my approach here, this can be a good place to show and share information. I know Druff likes is small and intimate, but PFA can be a good source for alot of people and this information can be helpful. Some good posters and helpful info here.

What I'm trying to say here is- Thank you to all the members sharing information here, youve made this thread a valuable resource.

When Tom Petty last came to LA, I had planned to go. I thought I was going to get clever with Stubhub, and targeted the Monday performance, so I waited for all of the dopes to overpay for the weekend, and then figured I'd swoop in and get tremendous value for Monday, at the last minute.

Then there was tremendous positive word of mouth about the concert, and suddenly the prices inflated big time. It got way too expensive for what I was willing to pay, and I said to myself, "Okay, I'll just see him next time he comes around."

Days later, he died of an OD, and that was that.

If the mooks on the strip running the casinos cant figure out why visit traffic is down its really damn simple

    1. Escalating Resort Fees
    2A. 6-5 BlackJack
2B double 0 and now even triple 000 roulette

Vegas seems to have forgotten they arent the only gaming option in the Western US anymore plenty of options to be had to gamble if thats what people want instead they just get greedy more so and try to squeeze the most money raising the house edges and screwing with people with ridiculous resort fees. Kinda like the idiot Democrats who think people are just gonna sit down and take the raising of taxes endlessly and then get shocked by mass exodus from places like Commiefornia, NY and others to places like FL, TX, TN.

BedWetterBettor: Add absurd Ticket prices for Aging Stars $2000 for 79 year old Dolly Parton WTF? Even the New Kids on the Block are asking $200 a ticket? Sorry, they weren't worth That in their brief Hay day!

Yea, that's the opposite of what happened to me when they did the Guns n' Roses "Not in This Lifetime" Reunion Cash Grab. I thought, "Okay, this is clearly a One time deal and either Axl will disappear again or be DEAD if I don't go!" So I forked over $400+ to go...

10 Years Later they're STILL touring with ANOTHER new lineup of musicians and Slash & Duff back in the fold getting that sweet Reunion Tour Money! LOL, they sure got mine and Axl sounds like Mickey Mouse now while Slash barely remembers how to play songs he wrote 35 years ago!

California is about to get a massive new casino that rivals Vegas' best

A lot more people are going to say "fuck you" to Las Vegas.

From my experience, Hard Rock properties are either Super Lavish or just an Average Gambling Hole for the Slot Junkies!

I was pleasantly surprised how well they redid the Taj Mahal Casino in AC into making it a very nice Hard Rock property(for AC standards anyway) with an amazing High Limit Area.

Then you have the drizzling shits locations like Punta Cana and Biloxi, which are fine for a gambling spot, but no where near as done up as others. Seems like the money went into the restaurants and shopping areas!

And Vegas will have a new Hard Rock in 2027 that will probably blow this Cali location away. But again, most folks don't care for the aesthetics and just plop down and play!
