When a person already has the "Orange Man Bad" programming, their confirmation bias makes anything negative about anything to do with the right automatically true.

No matter how much smarter some of you think you are than Mike that drives a Chevy 2500, this shit doesn't work on him or nearly anyone on the other side with any sort of effectiveness other than a small, fringe group of the most ardent conspiritards. Why doesn't it work or even matter in terms of a political strategy?



Maybe we shouldn't give 8 year olds hormone blockers - Nazi.

Maybe we should talk about who is committing all the violent crime and why - Nazi.

Maybe we shouldn't have 100 million foreigners in our country - Nazi.

And so on. You get it. Literally just flip the text I wrote here and compare the characters to the visualization in the pic.

I would love to share this with people who accuse me of being part of a right wing echo chamber. I'm always trying to explain to people that not only am I not one who blindly repeats right wing talking points, but that there are a lot of right wingers who have their own independent views on things, and that right wingers in general aren't as obsessed with ideological purity as the left.

When I say this, I get mocked and laughed at, as if I'm crazy.
