I had Over in the Kansas game, so smooth sailing by halftime. But yeah, pretty LOL Kansas couldn't even cover.
This one is in the weeds some, but had Charlotte +14.5 versus NC. They lost by 17, with a -3 turnover margin. So that one could have definitely gone better.
I actually had Kentucky +9 vs Ole Miss. And they covered by scoring a FG with 18 seconds left to only lose by 7. But I feel pretty much everyone is doing that move now (if you are down 9-10 points in the last 30 seconds of game, kick the FG and then try onside kick and Hail Mary), so not really a bad beat it went down that way.

Brutal end to both the Jets and Falcons games.
60-yard FG by the Steelers to go up 34-32 with 1:08 left.
Atlanta, up 20-17, gave up a TD way too easily, then got the gift of a missed EP. Then they had TWO almost touchdowns themselves (despite just 59 seconds to do it), and then missed a 44-yard FG to end it.
I will be taking all 6 of my Survivor tickets to week 2, though. But hardly anyone got eliminated, so.... blah.

Wonder if this will be a new trend though. Three preseason games with 80% of the NFL not using game 3 for starters...... perhaps causing some teams to get out of the gate slow? Last year opening day most of the teams that should have won did not (survivor was a disaster).
Oh, I remember the survivor disaster. It ate my 10k in record time. What bothered me more than losing the 10k was how fast I was out of the contest. I got just about zero entertainment/sweat value out of it. Felt like I had wiped my ass with 100 $100 bills.

That made me downgrade my entry to $6k this year, so it will be less painful if the same thing happens (so far it's the opposite -- almost everyone survived week 1!)
But yeah, these unders are worth watching.
Obviously the public got destroyed yesterday and the books cleaned up. The ploppies not only bet Overs, but they bet lottery ticket parlays on prop overs on stats and with the low numbers yesterday they got killed worse than normal.
Which is why you will be hearing stories this week of straight bettors that bet decent amounts and won yesterday having trouble by getting limited. Bottom line is the new books don’t want your action unless you are a ploppie betting parlays.
The “it’s only $20” mentality is what they are making hundreds of millions off of.
