I mean he’s popular because he is playing with house money and just says shit we all agree with on a lot of issues.
Like I am labeled a leftist here. I’m not. I have always described myself as a labor dem. Like I think when more people have more money in their pocket, when there is less income inequality, I do better and the country does better and my portfolio does better. Thats always been the case in my adult life.
But I always say I’m on a golf course. I’m somewhere where black people largely aren’t. My hobbies and lifestyle are different than theirs. If someone comes from out of town I tell them don’t go to this area.
Because what I think it healthiest for the country is also beneficial to lower income people, many of whom are black, that puts me as a leftist to some. But I’m not hanging out in the hood. I’m golfing. I’m at some upscale place. I’m in the country half the time.
That doesn’t mean I want to join the MAGA team. To me it’s often similar to the team they hate most and governed by emotion and superstition and boycotts and idiocy. I don’t want to be around low IQ shit whether the person is white or black or whomever they vote for is irrelevant. I don’t want to have conversations about arguing for the use of pronouns or BLM rights and I don’t want to spend my days bitching about black people either and whining about the shit MAGA whines about. Things are where they are.
I just want to watch my games, play golf, make money, occasionally get laid, and have an interesting conversation with the few people left who aren’t obsessing on either of the extremes and have actually read a few books in their life that don’t have patriot or patriarchy in the title.
But like no one here disagrees with this advice in regards to anyone they care about or I’d say they are naive or giving horrible advice.
He’s doing this thing right now better than any of the other people on the right and why he’s taking off. The more established people are afraid to say it.
