    Bought some TSLA puts (expires in October) at 338 after the giant market jump today. Of course it is at 341 now, so starting in the hole. After many, many, many disastrous tries hoping this is the time doing options actually works, but so far not so good.

    Oklo inc. ticker OKLO, is a company that is positioned very well to build these small nuclear reactor power centers for these AI and data centers... still not profitable and stock is up nearly 1000% in a 1 year period... i'm gonna throw about 1.2k to 1.5k at it and see if it sticks... thanks for the VRT suggestion many moons ago... still holding, wish i would of got on the PLTR train long ago like you suggested, price coming down though not sure when i will pull the trigger though ^^^^

    I had to do a double take with your reference to me because I never mentioned anything about trading metals then I realize its medal. Thanks but I'm taking a beating too. Even though I sold off my biggest winners I still have 20+ year holdings in GOOG and XLE that are being beaten down. I'm down to 45% equity holdings but even those losses add up fast.

    Wife and I have a 15 year mortgage at 2.875% that was done about 12-13 years ago. Neither of us have car payments or cc debt so we can weather a storm but oh my if the poor people with no assets aren't frightened yet about their prospects they sure will be soon enough.

    My car is the perfect example of why I'm well off (not wealthy). Its 11 years old and is pushing 340k. I can go out rn and get a new one to impress everyone but F that. Its making the trip to Florida in a few weeks. I'm wearing a shirt rn my sister got me at the good will like 10 years ago. I don't care what anyone thinks so I have no need to spend 10 cents on anything impractical. Aside from the mortgage I will not pay interest on anything ever again to anyone.

    My kids haven't learned these lessons quite yet but sometimes I think maybe they're getting there. I've been living below my means for 30 years. Young people better take heed.

    It’s the little things over time that add up. Get blessed enough to have a couple big gains and you have all you need. Then you give it to the next generation.

    Most young people have zero thrifting or savings skills. It’s purposeful. Tick tock and all.

    Went to a cookout on Labor Day and brought a watermelon. These stores not only have sales but the new thing is digital coupons, it’s a pain in the ass. I felt like Druff at the register when I had the digital coupons for an extra dollar off and it wasn’t working. Head cashier said well then you don’t get it. I said contraire and got it.

    Got another year of rehab on this house then will triple my investment. Giving it all to my kid and her growing family to buy a more suitable home to raise them in.

    I eyed a homesteader property this week pretty much ready to go. God willing age won’t get me before this dream realized.
