I have to wonder if Dan Bongino was appointed just to give more credibility to the eventual "there are no Epstein files, nothing to see here" story.

At the end of the day, I think there were just too many prominent/important people on both sides of the political aisle who would be negatively impacted by this, so neither side wants to see this released.

Trump is the type of guy who could have potentially said, "Fuck it, release this anyway", but he probably feels like he needs the cooperation/support from some on the list, plus he had an association with Epstein himself.

I actually believe Trump didn't fuck little girls on Epstein's island. Recall that Trump actually distanced himself from Epstein once he got a better idea of what was really going on with him. That makes it unlikely Trump was doing the same thing.

Bill Clinton on the other hand... I think a lot of bad shit went down involving him.
