I've watched a lot of the PokerGo coverage, especially as sort of background watching while I work. Overall I found the NLHE coverage to be very boring. The best two streams were the 2-7 Triple Draw and $50k Poker Players Championship. Perhaps not coincidentally, Bleznik was commentating both and actually gave great insight and ripped into all the players.

I would recommend watching them both if you haven't.

Your opinion is interesting as you’re younger than most of us. The olds here will forever be chasing that poker boom high. It’s never gonna be like that. But kids don’t know how novel and exciting poker broadcasting once was. This is all they know.

Why would a human watch endless hours of WSOP reruns on late night tv all summer long? We did. Could not get enough. The easiest low cost programming ESPN ever had for years and years.

Hopefully The Travel Channel puts in a bid for the rights.

The funny thing is that yeah, I’m younger, but the stuff they do to try and appeal to a younger audience actually turns me off even more. All the gimmicks and trying to shove “characters” like Martin Kabhrel onto the feature table just makes it worse. I’d rather watch good players play interesting formats with smart commentary
