Cops didn’t “get their asses handed to them”. All the damage was done to the initial firefighters, no one was shot (other than the self inflicted shooter) after the initial attack.

Why do people keep focusing on the parents being Trumpers? They didn't kill anyone.
The kid looks very effeminate. I doubt he was a Trumper himself. Also looks different from the parents, maybe not even 100% white. Perhaps he's adopted and was fucked up from the start. There is a higher incidence of mental illness and other psychological conditions among adopted kids, most likely because the parents giving them up had genetic psychiatric issues which led to not being able to keep their kid. Also might have been gay or wanted to be trans but couldn't bear to live that way.
I bet he was either left, apolitical, or an anarchist type, and decided to do this before offing himself. Killing firefighters isn't even a political statement. It looks more like he just wanted to commit a really brazen and nasty murder before shooting himself dead.

This guy was a homeless kook living out of his car, and was already cited 5 times for trespassing. He likely chose firefighters to murder because he had at one point expressed an interest in becoming a firefighter. Maybe this was done out of resentment toward those who were able to accomplish this dream of his.
I know all of the PFA leftiest would like to picture that he was some violent MAGA fanatic, but nope, just a crazy (albeit young) homeless guy who decided to to kill random firefighters for his own bizarre reasons.

How many of these crazy acts are committed by people 25 or under? Nearly all of them? Thats the type of gun reform I could get behind. No one 25 or under can own or possess a firearm unless they have a military or first responder exemption. This with some system in place to weed out crazies seeking a hunting exemption or self defense exemption - no one under 21 period for these two types of exemptions. People with undeveloped brains should not be able to walk into an Academy Sports and buy an AR anytime they feel like it.

This was unlikely to have been a politically-motivated attack at all, but I'd be very surprised if this guy held right wing political views at the time of the murder.
