Mount Ellinor/Mount Washington traverse in the Olympics last weekend. Was a nice day down below as seen in the picture, about 15 wind chill where I was
Wild rhino on a jungle safari in Chitwan, Nepal in November. Saw some incredibly rare birds, hundreds of monkeys, spotted deer, wild boar, etc.
No tigers or leopards until leaving, where a freshly killed deer was laying the road still oozing blood from its throat. Our guide/friend immediately ground his truck to a halt and positioned himself behind his truck camera in hand. 30 seconds later a leopard emerges and dragged its kill away.
No photos as I was scared shitless but an intense scene I'll never forget.

Eagles are very lazy letting the rabbits do most of the eating.
Two days ago I saw an eagle or hawk where you normally wouldn't.
I think it was drunk.
When it got close I took a good look and I'm pretty sure it was a Golden Eagle.
I've only seen one before at a remote golf course. It's very distinguishable. (yes I eagled the hole)
I'm guessing that's a young Bald Eagle but it's tough to tell
as I am out of beer.

Yes it is a fledgling bald eagle thy are very common around here Pacific Northwest this one seems to be hanging around quite a bit… pretty cool there are also a lot of blue herons there pretty big too luckily they don’t shit while there flying
