In the meantime.... Giants keep on truckin'.

They roll into Philly -- a tough place to play -- and promptly fall behind 3-0, and barely get out of a jam in the 1st which could have made it worse.

Just as you think an L is coming, they erupt for 6 in the top of the 2nd.

Waiting for this team to fall off, but it hasn't happened yet.

On a side note, how overrated is Taijuan Walker? He was good in 2022... and that's about it. He was one of those guys they kept saying would break out and be a star, and it just never happened. I didn't ever see it in him. Last year he was horrendous -- an ERA over 7 in 83 innings pitched -- yet here he is starting for the contending Phillies. So I guess it's not too surprising the Giants came back.

Sharps like Cubs tonight. Line has moved big time.

I guess they think something is wrong with Cease? Or they're impressed with the Cubs taking 2/3 from the Dodgers?

I just don't see it with Taillon going, who looked terrible last time out. If anything, a first-5 over is in order.

What are your Red Sox doing? Houck ouch. 11 er in 2 innings

At least Goldschmidt got 3 bases and we made a small profit

Well.... I was about to go with O3.5 +105 first 5 on the SD game but then it went to O4 -110. I got distracted by something, then it changed by the time I came back to it.

Oh well. I'll pass on 4. 3.5 +105 looked much better.

I have to quit looking at Tampa box scores. 2021 was a disaster for Cle front office. Giving away Yanier Diaz at like 22 is one thing, but giving away a 17 year old Junior Caminero for nothing is going to haunt them for 15 years. Kid is 21 and has it all. We do one thing great. Scout Dominican talent and we gave away a future MVP conversation kid in Caminero

We rolled over our modest Goldschmidt profit into small fun Mookie +430 HR prop. 9/20 with 2 HRs against this kid

    Well that was easy.

Think we are rolling over half that into another mookie HR at +650 and Hernandez at +575. Obviously one of those will do. Hernandez 5/9 with 2 HRs.

Rockies are already into their bullpen in the 5th, so I like your chances.

This might’ve just been the positive mojo the Braves needed to get things turned around:

Man when I bet the Dodgers I looked at the wrong day. I wouldn’t have added them if I saw Knack was pitching. I was flipping back and forth on espn and clicked tmrw pitching matchup.

Josh Naylor homers and cresting mayhem on the basepaths for DBacks. Shame BCR

    I bet 1st 5 Rockies TT o1.5 +100
    &
    1st 5 BTTS 2+ +180

Rockies were scoreless for 3+ games but could hit Dustin May so Knack ought to continue the turnaround.

O 2.5 Rockies TT full game is a look too.

When all else fails there is always Dodgers. I tried to fade the miracle Giants. Oops

It gave me the equivalent of like a +140 buyout given the Dodgers are -335 and the first two are winners. I took it. Bet a little on Steph o34.5 pts+assists given he put up 52/10 against Memphis last time.

Gunnar made the earlier games a little profitable. If someone could have drove in Jose it would have been really nice

I might get on that Rockies o2.5

I loved Naylor, but I have stood next to the dude when he was with Ernie Clemet and another player I can't recall in a bar right across from stadium, all 3 gone now, and I am a full 2 inches taller than him and he was over 270 at one point last year. He is listed at 5'10 but not unless I grew. I legit couldn't blame the organization for not paying him long term. I mean our president is at his fighting weight of 6'3 224lbs, and this kid is an athlete. I will always love the kid and wish him well. Tons of heart.

The Few, the proud, the brave.

BTTS Special Forces have been briefed on the myth of Doyers Bobby Thriller and the BTTS F5 Rockies +180 success yesterday. The Rockies offense has made ordinary men pee themselves. Godspeed

Rockies offense on the road, while never good in franchise history, has been a sight to behold so far. Here's the runs scored on the road this year:

    2
    1
    4
    1
    1
    1
    0
    0
    0
    3
    2

Coming into Dodger Stadium, they had scored 3 runs total in the prior 54 innings on the road! The 5 they've put up in Dodger Stadium's 2 games look like a slugger's assault by comparison.

Funny enough, the pitching-rich Dodgers are.... having to start Bobby Miller, he of the 8.52 ERA over 13 starts last year.

He's been kinda decent at AAA so far, pitching to a 2.25 ERA, but he's walked 8 and only struck out 7 over 12 innings, and that's against minor leaguers.

Where are you seeing the Both Teams to Score First 5? I don't see that on my books.

I am seeing Miller o1.5 BB which is tempting.

Well I forgot for a second that Bovada killed my props, but if you can get o1.5 BB for Miller, I'd get on that.

This is more a public service for those in the ROW.

    MGM has F3/F5/F7

A few books have BTTS for full game

Only DK offers the full suite. They do their best to move it around and hide it from time to time.

In this age of AI analytics BTTS is not being devig’d by the propeller heads and I think this is part of the secret sauce. It’s a fairly overlooked derivative

The walk idea is a good one

Ah, well given that I am in the land of eternal battling between Indian casinos and big poker rooms, there will never be access here to sites like MGM or DK, at least not on the sportsbetting side. Or online poker for that matter.

So I'm stuck with the offshore books, which are all super cautious nowadays. Except the ones which don't pay you, as you can place a lot of exotic bets on those, and then cry when it's time to cash out.

Now a rematch of a pitching matchup from a few weeks back, albeit that one was in Chicago. Boyd v Pivetta

Hopefully it goes the same as Pivetta couldn’t throw strikes and only lasted 3
