I don't disagree with the take but euthanized is a little strong at this point. If you invested 1M in the S&P 500 ~a year ago today you would have $1M in your account plus any dividends.

I feel a little worse for the 27 year old that cant afford to buy a house even though they have done all the right things than I do someone who took a 365 day trip on the market wheel.
