Adjusted for inflation a gallon of gas 50 years ago was more expensive in Massachusetts than today. I can pump @ $2.79.

I turned on the inauguration coverage while working, and Musk was speaking just a few minutes ago. He's legitimately practiced trying to emulate Trump's rally riffing technique.

I know for a fact Musk is/was a regular POL user - while watching this I was wondering how much that board has influenced him and everything we've seen and are seeing happening with him. I don't think he has any sort of Hitlerian type of motives or goals at all, but in analyzing his actions, public speaking, and tweets, there's definitely some sort of modern mainstream white nationalism thing going on under the surface - something far different than the sad Jew hating version of the alt right.

I'm sure Elon is a huge folkstyle/freestyle wrestling fan, and he posted this humiliating picture of the Oklahoma State guy upsetting the former Olympic gold medalist in the NCAA championship for those reasons.


On a side note this was actually crazy. Gable Steveson hadn't lost since 2019 - Olympic gold medalist, two time NCAA champion, three time age group world champion, one time Pan American champion. He decided to come back for his last year of eligibility.
