the problem is that as the planet's weather system absorbs and retains more energy, its expressed as among other things hyper charged winds. and those winds turn every minor fire into a major one and spread cinders all over the fucking place to create more fires and eventual firestorms.

Druff can barely walk anymore so think his son will be fine. One swing of that axe and his ass would be in the kitchen digging around for a can opener.

Thoughts and prayers, he has to get warm in front of a fireplace.

I bought it in 2021. I forget why. It sat barely used until the recent power failures, at which point I was so glad I had it.


I just got this one yesterday. Anker Solix F1200. I didn't get the solar panel but maybe I will. The problem is that my main need for it is in the winter and late fall, which is when the sun is lowest in the sky (and the days are short!)

The second one is way bigger than the first -- both in capacity and physical size. The second one is 42 pounds.

First one's capacity is 387 watt hours. Second one is 1229 watt hours -- about 3.17x.

The second one has a hypercharge feature which is great for power failures, meaning I only have to kill an hour in Starbucks to get it up to 80%.

The second one also can run just about any device -- including high wattage ones like space heaters or coffee makers. Not that I'd run a space heater on it, because that would drain it in less than an hour. But it can. The first one can only go up to 400w.

I have a Jackery 500. You can find them at Harbor Freight. I have heard that Target is now carrying them.

Thanks. The Jackery is insurance against power outages because I sleep with a bi-pap. I recently went thru another power outage at a casino hotel.
