That was a given either way but Ive heard suggestions Trump might suggest he would pardon Hunter in order to try and put the nightmare of all the Biden shenanigans behind us. Remember Trump himself advocated for not going after Hillary over the smashed server from 2016. I disagreed with it but it would now basically kill the arguments the left is spewing he's coming after everybody to lock them up. Some should. I would like to see at least some modicum of punishment for Gen Milley. Unlike some I think going full out on him for treason (even if thats what it was) over the calls to China (Specifically the one prior to the election that he placed to the head of the PLA in late Oct 2020 was a UCMJ violation) wont accomplish much but what I believe is fair is a call back to active duty and a prosecution deal that leads to him being reduced in rank back to 2 star (in theory Trump I believe could do it on his own without a Court martial as rules state Maj General is in fact the highest perm rank and any who make LTG or full 4 star keep said rank even in retirement at the pleasure of the President. But in this case reducing Milley back to 2 Stars which would slightly reduce his pension seems to be the best answer as I will give him credit for formally admitting Trump did indeed sign off on the National Guard call up for DC on Jan 3 prior to the incident at the Capitol so the decision not to use them or activate wasnt on him it was indeed on Pelosi and the DC Mayor.
