Nick may have a problem with Julia. She's an attorney and seems determined to force HCL out of Hustler.
Keep in mind HCL is a separate company from Hustler Casino. HCL is owned and operated by Ryan Feldman and Nick Vertucci.
Luke "Slaydog" Vrabel held a Twitter Space about this during early Sunday evening.
"Ash Kardash", a former HCL player, came on and made allegations against Nick, as well.
This is definitely the worst scandal HCL has dealt with. The Robbi Jade Lew stuff was a mixed bag for them. It wasn't great that their stream was accused of having cheating going on, but at least it was a fascinating story, plus there was no smoking gun. It ended up bringing even more eyeballs to them, and they moved on just fine, even without Garrett Adelstein.
But this one has no upside to it. And Hustler Casino is going to be facing real pressure to drop HCL over this.
A frequent Spaces member named "Ellie X" came on, and also alleged that Nick asked about her boobs. I don't know if Nick met her in person, or if this was just online. I don't think Ellie was ever on HCL. Then Ash Kardash came on. Start listening at 1 hour 56 minutes.

Ash claimed that the harassment occurred in Vegas, not at HCL. She said that Nick tried to kiss her in the summer of 2023, and also later offered to be her sugar daddy, which she turned down. She said that she stopped appearing on the show (voluntarily) after the kissing incident.
Luke Vrabel "Slaydog" is an absolute scumbag, lowball. He actually DMd me on Twitter (cpl years ago now) telling me I had to PAY HIM in order to not be blocked which he then proceeded to BLOCK me since i never paid him actually, what a worthless piece of lowlife trash.

The "pay me or get blocked" is a gimmick he does on Twitter. Some don't like it, but there's no reason to get mad about it.
He and I had some minor issues in the past, but we've gotten along well over the past 2+ years, and he's even come on PFA Radio twice.
So here's my analysis from a truly neutral standpoint. I am not friends nor enemies with Nick Vertucci. I am not friends nor enemies with any of the girls making allegations. I have no dog in this fight at all. I'm also trying to look at this completely objectively -- not minimizing the allegations, but also not overblowing them. This, of course, is just one man's opinion, and everyone will have their own take on the situation.
The worst allegation is the one from Kitty Kuo. If Nick really did show her dick pics on a phone/iPad while sitting next to her, that's really bad. It's also notable that, while Kitty has been in some drama with people over the last 2 years, she has never once made a sexual harassment allegation against anyone. She has also never been accused of lying, to my knowledge.
The Julia allegation is second worst. Nick was definitely unprofessional, crude, and cringey in his repeated requests to see a "preview" of her cleavage, and the subsequent laughable claim that she "makes his T higher" (lol). However, it does not seem that Julia is accusing him of forcing her off the show for rejecting him, nor does she claim that he continued sexually harassing her after asking him to stop talking this way. I'm not defending Nick here, and definitely the owner of a poker stream should never talk this way to female players on the show, aside from ones who make it 100% clear they want such talk. Julia was definitely NOT giving him the impression in any way that she wanted Nick to talk to her that way, so it was definitely wrong. However, this doesn't rise to the level (by itself) where I feel it should get HCL cancelled. The subsequent digging for dirt on her, if true, is pretty bad though.
The Ash allegation is, again, inappropriate if true. However, this occurred 300 miles away from Hustler, and Nick never attempted to punish her for turning down the kiss, nor did he ever seem to imply that she wouldn't get invited if she didn't kiss him. From her story, it appears they were out in Vegas as part of a group social thing, and he awkwardly made moves on her, then backed away after she rejected him. Once again, as co-owner of HCL he shouldn't make moves on any of the females from the show, even away from the casino, but he did back off, and she was invited again (which she understandably turned down).
Ellie had posted nudes on her open Twitter (I actually saw them in the past), and those were apparently what Nick commented on. I think his comments were online. I'm of the belief that if you post nudes on open Twitter, you can't complain if guys make sexual comments in response to such posts, as long as such comments aren't threatening in any way. So that one kinda adds to the whole picture of Nick making unsolicited sexual comments to women in poker, but by itself isn't really a big deal, due to the content he was commenting on.
Anyway, the problem for Nick is that all of this together looks really bad, especially the Kitty allegation. And if he really is digging for dirt on Julia, that looks even worse.
People are calling for Ryan Feldman to "get rid of Nick", but it doesn't work that way. Nick is half owner of HCL, from what I understand. However, there is a fair chance that Hustler will dump HCL if there's enough heat on them to do so.
Keep in mind that HCL has an extremely close relationship with Hustler. The card room has greatly benefited from HCL coming there, and has revived a lot of their action. Prior to HCL's arrival, it was a dying "fourth option" card room behind monsters Commerce, Bike, and Hollywood Park. It now has a lot more activity and notoriety. It is unclear to me what financial arrangement Hustler has with HCL. I assume that Hustler pays HCL, but I'm not sure how much.
It is my assumption that Vertucci's part in starting HCL was probably the initial funding of it, while Ryan brought his expertise and networking skills. Prior to HCL, Vertucci was not known to anyone in poker.

Thinking that the strike they got wasn’t just a coincidence. Looks like it happened right around Lauren’s departure. People were obviously really pissed off. Lauren is the really major issue here. The creepy texts and harassment of women in poker is bad, but even though Nick is not technically Lauren’s “Boss” because she works for the casino…I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard for a lawyer to argue he had even more power over her than her actual bosses. Of course this stuff with Lauren is hearsay and it’s alleged. It would be super fucked up if Julia didn’t check with Lauren before making that tweet. To me that is the big deal here. Not minimizing the creepy texts and behavior. But it’s not surprising at all. Lauren probably averaged 2K a night dealing on HCL. Private game dealers in NYC can average about a grand a night. Very lucrative position she lost. Probably will be a settlement and we will never hear about it. Can’t imagine how she could be brought back at this point.
What I’ll say about Nick is you never get something for nothing. He wasn’t just a co-owner. He used this position to gamble in soft games, start a podcast and of course try to get laid. He took full advantage of what Feldman created and then some. He was living the good life. A lot more perks in it than selling air to old folks. Looks like it’s going to be a pretty big fall. Obviously we have seen the meltdowns and poor impulse control on Twitter. He really had it made…looks like he just couldn’t keep it under enough control.
I would say right now he’s obviously not going to be on the show. He can’t talk and gasbag his way out of this one. I wouldn’t expect an emergency Nick Vertucci Show Podcast. The creepy texts and dick pics he probably could survive with a long break and sincere apology. It’s what happens with the Lauren stuff that he may not be able to come back from.

Yes and Dk, the guy that the Monday game was built around, no longer appears on HCL. DGAF specifically referenced being very affected by the “J4” incident. He also has been a long time friend of Garrett Adelstein. What DGAF is doing now is tough and was meant as a side hustle. There definitely was something to his departure. The quality of the Monday/Thursday games he ran has really went down. But you can say that for all the games. There certainly has been attrition and a need to get new players.
When you think about it the J4 incident was really the turning point. You had the Garrett/old LATB era end and the Nik Airball crew era start. Now those guys are gone too (although they are playing in Cyprus on “HCL” soon apparently). Interesting they just seem to not play at Hustler anymore btw.
DGAF’s exit was kind of the end of the old guard. What was kind of left of the original era. Plus the person making allegations is also currently playing on DGAF’s stream. So not hard to conclude DGAF didn’t leave on good circumstances. But he remains working for “Hustler” as a game runner. This is pretty much what happened to Feldman when he left “Live at the Bike”, he stayed on with the actual Bike as a game runner.

These texts from Nick to Julia were not harassment. She is blowing it out of proportion when she should have kept it private. He was hitting on her, she rejected him and he said sorry and backed off.
That is not harassment. It is attention seeking for Julia. She's no victim and its beyond lame on her part. Nick did the right thing by backing off and she's trying to expose him anyway when she should've just let it slide. We're supposed to feel sorry for her because someone said she has nice tits?
This is drama that should not exist.
