used your promo code then it took me to a thing where i had to verify my identity by taking a photo of my drivers lisc as well as a selfie, but it never made me actually create a username or a password at all... is this standard? kinda figured i would have to make an actual account

Yes, you're eligible for the other random drawings. I have two codes: THOMAS and SRSLY. The first drawing will be selecting a random person who used the THOMAS code, which was only promoted at PFA.
For the rest of the drawings, I'll combine everyone from the THOMAS and SRSLY lists and select one of them at random

This made me laugh out loud when I saw it. So I know WSOP Bahamas is kind of going with the “high roller boutique” stop vibe, but are they really advertising that this guy is going down there and you should book a trip as well? Guy plays stakes 99.9% + of poker players will never come close to touching. Just bizarre. I guess maybe some guys who play high roller tournaments will feel there is one more weak spot in the tournament.
Meanwhile, WPT is doing a 5 million dollar freeroll to get a shit ton of people out there who wouldn’t ordinarily go. Such a stark contrast.

Anyway the next drawing is on October 8, this time for 3 seats. Roughly half of the people signed up under me are from PFA, so still a great chance for everyone here to still win.

First of all let me be clear that none of us “deserve” anything and Srsly can do whatever the fuck he wants. Everyone should be happy with whatever the outcome is.
That being said if the fellas are looking for a suggestion or two and if Srsly is willing to part with one more seat….
1. Limit the winner to having at least 2,000 posts.
2. Must have a net positive feedback. Id argue it should be significantly positive.
3. Condition of winning the min should be %% back to the community via freeroll or other
If you really wanted to make point 3 complicated one primary person gets the seat and 6 other board members get 5% equity or some such.
Would of been real cool if there were two well known board winners each with 6 people with equity to cheer on.
Be interesting if a heel like Les won and 6 people on the board who despise him all came together to burry the hatchet
Anyway don't want to sound ungrateful. This has been great and it cant be said enough how nice a gesture this is.

I used to run a forum years ago and free roll poachers would come out of the woodwork trying to register even though they never pah-ticipated.
I’d like to live vicariously through someone who is active on PFA, that’s all….someone to root for….yes even Les.
