The effect won’t be just fiscal but cultural too. We are witnessing the populist response to 2007. (Current populism is just rhetoric btw). The forthcoming changes will be orders of magnitude in the coming years. The 2007 housing crisis was child’s play.
Elon will get his and the rapidly growing billionaire class will too. Assets will melt up. The rest? Well, not so much. Anger and suffering will grow.
Our generation needs to hang onto the benefits reaped from the best damn years America had to offer.
