Walz is a pathological liar.

All politicians lie and make excuses. However, Walz just tells pointless lies about his life, and not in response to any allegation. He just likes to invent or morph things about his life, and blurts them out.

This example is perfect. There was no reason to claim he was in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square protests, when he actually wasn't. He just thought nobody would have access to his travel records, and could make up this story without getting caught. It turns out he didn't show up there until over 2 months later, in August 1989. The protests ended on June 4, 1989. I even remember this, because I was following it during the end of my junior year in high school, and I recalled them ending (with the unfortunate massacre) just before I finished that school year.

A fraudster is someone who engages in deceptive practices to achieve financial or another personal gain. That's lying on a grand scale

If you cast a vote for someone who is convicted of serial fraud you must not really care about that fact.
