Clearly the Dems strategy is that if every single talking head on TV keeps saying how “excited” the party is that Hawk Tuah Harris is going to be the nominee, that will somehow make it so. I don’t know a single democrat “excited” about Harris. She’s the only one who has been hidden more than Biden in the last 3.5 years FFS. But I get it’s the hand they have been dealt. Still think there’s a small probability she gets dumped at the convention for Mayor Pete.

Is anyone going to be surprised if they pull a convention switcheroo? Kamala is a terrible candidate and there's no way her terribleness can be hidden for even 70 days after the convention. The polls will tighten on her slight, artificial, "she's not a walking corpse" popularity, but I imagine before the convention she will be polling just as bad as Biden (outside of the 1-2% States of Libtardia bias). The strategy of trying to ride momentum rather than a real message/substance is the only play they have left, and it's going to be effective in the short term, so why not try it again?

im not sure it would be a black swan event exactly but i think shes got support locked up pretty tight.

that said who knows at this point. maybe someone finds some kompromat on her and she has to dip. a manchin/warren ticket would probably sweep the board after all.

It's possible Biden's COVID is worse than being stated, and that's the reason we aren't seeing him.

They could be doing what the Dodgers did to Tommy Lasorda in 1996. He had been the Dodgers' manager since 1976, and was a beloved figure to fans, so he was very difficult to fire. However, he was almost 69, making an increasing number of bad in-game decisions, and team ownership really wanted him out. But he wasn't just someone you could fire without a huge fan backlash.

Then it happened. Lasorda had a heart attack. He recovered and his life wasn't in that much danger, but this was the event they used to get him out. They claimed that he needed to take some time away from managing to recover, and appointed Bill Russell as his "interim" replacement. A few weeks later they let him know it was permanent, but he wasn't being fired. He was instead turned into a "vice president" of the team, whose position was mostly ceremonial/promotional. Aside from a quick stint as GM in 1998, he remained a meaningless VP until his 2021 death.

The jackals at the DNC probably used Biden's COVID to convince him that he was too frail to continue the rigors of a tough Presidential campaign, and browbeat him into agreeing to step aside. I'm guessing they are waiting until he recovers to present him to the public. Until then, he will be hidden in the basement as usual.

They're treating her like a competent, rising star who was waiting in the wings as VP.




She was awful, flamed out badly in the 2020 primary, and was not trusted by Biden's team to do anything. There were lots of clashes between her people and Biden's people, with her people claiming she was relegated to basically do nothing, and Biden's people pointing out that she embarrassed their Administration with everything she did. Both were correct.

How she's going to step into Biden's shoes and suddenly become the Trump slayer is a mystery to me.

The entire campaign strategy is going to be, "Look everyone! Kamala isn't old, and Trump is!"

It won't work.
