If I wasn't already running a forum, I sure as fuck wouldn't start one. Nobody wants to use them anymore. They were already out of style 10 years ago.
This shit is still running because we are all old, and we all got used to forums, so for us it feels natural. But that's all who remains on forums -- old people who are choosing not to primarily move on to more modern media.
Twitter Spaces was something new last year, and it had its moment in the sun, but it has rapidly declined. It too much resembled old school 1980s party lines, except with the added (and unfortunate) twist of being run by some control freak who decides which people get to speak. People thought it was cool for a second, now you hardly see them running anymore.

Ive browsed some of them and tuned in but it seems like an ineffective communications/dialogue/debate platform
I can see how it turned out as a huge fail for Ron DeSantis it seems like a worse version of VOIP and the audio quality is meh
best one was Elon/Vivek/Alex Jones that was fun but I can see its a flawed communication medium because its not an engaging live interaction
I will prob try this again soon though…I’m intrigued by the possibilities considering my skill set and genius level creative skills
Oh and to be clear….
when I say I could drop a forum…that is not some declaration like I’m going to make some big statement or try to be some quasi social media attention junkie
