    Magill is gone from Penn.

The author of the above statement, Scott Bok, Chair of the Board of Trustees, has also since resigned.

Magill's resignation came ahead of her expected firing tomorrow.

I am shocked that these three women had such horrible testimony, given that they had months to prepare, and apparently a lot of coaching.

What was taught at the coaching? They couldn't have done worse.

Did they really think "it depends upon the context" was going to satisfy people, when it came to questions about genocide?

Shows you how tone-deaf these ivory tower administrators really are. You had three intelligent, academically gifted women who said the dumbest shit on a national stage, after being given months to prepare a slick set of answers.

The answers weren't just bad. They were incoherent. They had no idea what the fuck they were saying. They were kinda sorta trying to frame this as freedom of expression of ideas and freedom of speech, but neither has been a hallmark of the Ivy League for a very long time. So you can't discipline students for years for "microaggressions" and then wave the free speech flag when it comes to genocide against Jews. Dumb.

I think the problem is that these people aren't used to having to seriously answer to anyone. They endure their controversies, but at the end of the day, they don't have to directly answer to anything, and their respective Boards have their backs.

Not the case here. The entire world was watching, and for once they had to deal with the common sense of the general public, and not their alternate reality of academia.

It is so satisfying to see these arrogant, elitist academic bureaucrats get their comeuppance. Needs to happen more often.

Yes, a lot of moderate Democrats joined in with the calls for these university presidents to resign. The smart Democrats don't want any part of the woke antisemitism train which is picking up more and more of their colleagues and constituents.

The most satisfying thing to me wasn't from being Jewish or being a Republican, but rather seeing an arrogant academic type finally have to face real world consequences for their hypocritical bullshit.

Much more of this needs to occur.

Now the world is finally aware of left wing antisemitism -- something Democrats and the media denied existed until 2 months ago, but which I've been saying for years has been a big problem on college campuses (and increasingly in Congress!)

Next we need to confront left wing sexism, left wing homophobia, and left wing racism. All of these also exist, but again these are "isms" which we're supposed to believe only exist in right wing spaces.

Maybe soon these "victim groups" will realize that they've been manipulated for decades by the Democratic Party, and the Western left in general. Hispanic men have already started to realize it, and are leaving the Democrats at a rapid rate.

They were sacrificed essentially. They had little to no wiggle room lest they upset all the far left antisemites and other whackjob woke that inhabit liberal arts colleges and their useless TP Degree course offerings which are the primary causation of asinine college debt issues when kids graduate 50K+ in debt with a degree that has no real world value and leaves them waiting tables or working at Starbucks.

They were screwed either way. If they did what they did they maintained their acclaimed academic integrity and can still get invited to kumbaya sessions with the local coffee house crowd in academia maybe getting another job on the downlow eventually after their golden parachute opens. If they pushed back against the hate on campuses they would have their woke leftist spoiled little trust funders and in debt to their eyeball crowd protesting with pitchforks outside their on campus residence scream death to jews etc etc and calling the college president a colonialist oppresor.

    They couldnt win either way.

Not in a majority sense WOW but the fact is alot of hispanics are getting sick and tired of Bidens shit too because theyre hurting financially due to inflation it doesnt help theyre not keen on the MS13 types coming across the border either.

It was ok when it was just fellow hispanics trying to get a better life but bro trust me theres a lot of pissed off mexicans now with the slime now coming across they arent about bringing families across for a better life. Hispanic voters are turning towards the GOP I dont expect a majority vote but polls show the right is gaining ground.

Hell here in AZ theyre pissed as fuck about one of the main legal border crossings being shut down till further notice its creating major issues and truth is its not safe to travel in some areas off main highways for detours due to the Sinaloa cartel running stuff from the Tucson to Yuma border region.

Lukeville port of entry is the main enter exit to go to Rocky Point the resort area for people in AZ as well as some folks who have indeed have family in the area. Now they have to detour all the way down to near Yuma or over to the huge border crossing at Nogalas to cross. Thats a major 2-3hr detour either way. ya dont want to be on the roads at night in Mexico except major limited access highways patrolled by Federales.
