So i brought up some issues related to NIL over the past few years and quite simply unless he is getting some horrible advice this wont impact Caleb at all.
Zach Charbonet RR for UCLA last year was rumored to have stayed with UCLA and got a big check to do so. I think you will see a lot of RB stick it out at the NCAA level and take the check. The fact is as a RB even if you do survive the 4/5 years in the NFL nobody is going to want to give you a check and even if they do it will be for 4-8M. Its a lot of money but its not generational. It other words it makes sense to stay at ucla fir a year and collect $1M and put off the year in the NFL.
Caleb or any other posistjon has the benefit of knowing when they make year 4-5 they get a true generational wealth playment. For Caleb it will likely be half a billion dollars. No amount of money can make putting off that check by a year at least no amount that USC or any of the local car dealerships can come up with.
USC would habe to come up with 25M plus for him to stay. Thats a far cry from $1M for a RB
