The sad thing in all this, is if she wins. These videos will follow her around all the while she is in office. Doesnt make her look good considering VA is still a pretty red state as a whole while the area shes running in is kinda blue/purple. Seeing how shes a medical professional as an NP it could reflect badly on the practice shes working with as well. No word if this has affected her business relationships at all. There is some potential other issues. Nurse Practice Act also has some language about bringing disrepute upon the profession. (I took my NCLEX and got licensed first in VA) so while they couldnt smack her too bad she could get a letter of reprimand on her record which will be permanent or even a demand for ethics courses. Technically performing sex acts for money for some is just a whatever, somebody whos a licensed professional especially as an NP (which is slowly becoming on par with MDs for independant practice as they move to DNP licensure and programs) is more likely to get a "we would like to talk to you" about this type thing from the licensing board.

Bad news. Recurbate, an illegal archiving service of X-rated webcams (mostly Chaturbate), has been browbeaten or bribed into removing the videos.

You can see the videos listed but they all say "Video unavailable" when you click on them. Sad!

The entire situation with saved Chaturbate videos has been controversial. The camgirls are obviously unhappy about it, as some of them save their best clips and sell them through Chaturbate for tokens, and others simply only want their content available when viewed live (because they inevitably make $ through token donations during those broadcasts). None of them want people viewing their past performances for free on a site called Recurbate.

This made a lot of the Chaturbate models attempt to post lol legal notices on their profile or put up a "protected by DMCA" stamp on their live broadcasts, in order to scare people out of recording and posting their broadcasts. The problem is that Recurbate and other foreign based archive sites don't give a shit about DMCA or toothless legalese on these girls' profiles, so it happens anyway.

So why did Recurbate take it down? Because this is a super high profile situation -- by far the most viewed archive on their site ever -- and they probably want to get the focus off of them. Perhaps they fear that Chaturbate itself will get involved here and throw its legal resources at them, and that's the last thing they want.

It's also possible that Gibson or the Virginia Democratic Party contacted Recurbate and either sufficiently scared them with legal threats, or even bribed them to take it down.

Recurbate got a lot of free advertising out of this, though. Most articles about the Gibson situation mentioned them. I was aware Chaturbate and other cam services were plagued with these illegal archive services stealing their broadcasts, but I never looked into which ones were doing it.
