Druff planning to go to what likely might be Kershaw’s last home game at Dodger stadium? I don’t think he’s gonna go through another playoffs if he can’t really compete. There is so much stupidity going on about the Dodgers rotation.

This might be it. Get on it.
Kershaw will probably come back next year. He's recently been taking the approach of, "Sign a 1-year deal and come back the next year if I did decently and am not hurting too much."

In a year with much increased offense, Kershaw has a 2.61 ERA and a 1.065 WHIP, and made 21 starts despite some injury trouble. He has a 123/34 K-BB ratio, and is averaging fewer than 1 HR allowed per start, which is pretty good considering all the HR flying out this year. This year has roughly been equivalent to 2018, when he was only 30.

The only way he doesn't come back is if he's hurting too much to be able to continue in 2024.

He won't go to any other team. Those days of considering his hometown Rangers are over, even though they're a decent (albeit fading) team now. At this point in his career, it's either sign for a year with the Dodgers or quit. Props to him for taking this approach rather than the greedy multiyear approach. He seems to legit not want to be in a multiyear deal which drags down the team if he can't complete it and it becomes a Strasburg situation.

Will he choke in the playoffs again? Maybe. Will the kids like Miller and Pepiot also choke? Again, maybe. I don't have a lot of faith in the Dodgers' postseason this year, especially with a powerhouse like the Braves in their league.
