Last months union newsletter though was the last straw. It basically said if you do not vote Democrat you will lose your job! I am not exaggerating either, it may as well have been written by the DNC.

They make it a huge pain in the ass to drop out too. You have to fill out a bunch of paperwork and submit it to the Washington DC branch within a one week window of the date that you joined. You must send it certified mail with a return receipt requested and present a copy of it to your local branch. If you do all of this this correctly they might let you out. One coworker of mine did all of this last year and they never processed it, he has no recourse but to repeat the process again this year and hope for the best.
What do you mean "let you out".

Why can't you just tell them to fuck off?
Thats not the way it works. You must jump through the hoops I described above before the dues stop being automatically taken out of your paycheck.

Terrible, but not at all surprising.

A new White House petition wants President Obama to nationalize the "Twinkie industry," saving the popular junk food from possible extinction.

Me too. They are tref but I can't accept that HASHEM would create refined flour, high fructose corn syrup and partially hydrogenated vegetable oil if he didn't intend us to eat it.

BTW I've always found this site amusing: http://www.twinkiesproject.com

Oh yes it's fucking hard. Lord forbid a business get declared "union shop". It is one of the biggest rackets ever.

When I was in high school in the mid 90s, I bagged groceries at a store owned by the Bruno's family (which at the time was a major chain in the southeast). Somehow or another a union had actually weaseled its way into the chain and I had to join the bagger's union. Back then minimum wage was like $4.35 an hour and my union dues were .25 an hour for nothing what so ever.

You take a hard stance, you deal with the hard consequence. Every dude has to know that's part of the Grand Hustle. Especially, in the MoFukin crap food game. Wat's yer leverage? People gotta have this shit? People don't care and the ride is over.

Endless perfecto distro of funds tween Fat Cats down to the forklift driver and back up on over to the pension holder model, that workers believed they could hang their hat on, is fucking done. What was once standard has rendered itself antique. Sucks for sure, as the individuals and requisite peeps are busted at the window. This is the market, this is the danger of devoting your whole personal brand/livlihood to branch of commerce with U-slicks who min-rape your check, tell you how to vote, sit, shit and how often you should be able to, and everyone else who knows your emotional inconsequential self.

Don't like your job? GOOD!, we were lookin to cash out anywayszzz and do nothing!

This doesn't apply to construction. Cuz niggaz need buildings and the safeties.

What a mess. There's no way a company with established operations like this should have $1b worth of debt on their books. This debt is built up as the operation is passed from venture firm to venture firm to PE firm etc, adding debt at every stage.

Pretty sure I saw an Egyptian historian on the history channel eat some honey out of pottery sealed with wax....found in a Pharaoh's tomb. Thousands of years old is my guess. Some freezer burned woolly mammoth maybe.
Honey is the only food that doesn't go bad.

The Union Chief blames Mitt Romney and Bain Capital for the demise of Hostess! It's not their fault they went on a protracted strike and sank the company. It's someone else's fault.

Exactly. I want my cashout, I'm going to force the company to take on debt to pay me a profit and then sell it on to another company that will do the same.

Cleatus LOL at your post. Don't you know there was one and only one factor in the demise of this company? And it was of course a factor that can be easily demonized to serve the political agenda of the people who just took an assraping in the election? They told you so!

If you are aligning yourself with simple-cleatus you are a bigger clown boy then we all thought. 99% of this forum does not even read his drivel, and you actually agree with simple-cleatus.

I am just going to assume you are a simple-cleatus dupe because you are the first one to respond to him in well over a year.
