The legal books are insidious with promoting parlays. I recognize that I do too many. Doing ANY is negative EV b/c you don’t get true odds. I am much nittier than your average bear but I gotta ad it sometimes they are irresistible with these boosts.
DraftKings
Fans of the Diamondbacks like me and Druff will appreciate this is a love letter to Gallen just shoving it down Miami’s throat.
It’s a leak but the legal books are so good at the entertainment aspect which is synonymous with planting the parlay hook. Insidious.
How about them Panthers, eh Chaps? TSN post game Leafs crying and anger the likes of which I haven’t heard since the Dodgers playoffs last year.
The Kraken were +6500 in the 1st period of their last game with the Avalanche. I was looking at it when the Kraken scored and the square went blank. +2400 and +950 now. I keep having remorse over missing the top and don’t push the button. I still haven’t. Ughh
Playoffs have been good to me otherwise.

Starting very shortly:
Cleveland (Bibee) vs Detroit (Wentz) - Under 7.5 -105
More soon.
Another last minute one:
Tampa Bay (McClanahan) at Baltimore (K. Gibson) - OVER 8.5 -105
One more for tonight:
Houston (H. Brown) -120 at Angels (P. Sandoval)
Hunter Brown is an under-the-radar pitching prospect. In 55 innings since his 2022 debut, he has a 1.96 ERA and 1.145 WHIP. The only knock against him this year is the 15 BB he's given up in 34 innings. He's coming off a wild start against the Giants where he walked 5 in fewer than 5 innings, but I believe he will right the ship today.
Neither of my totals are going well so far. Detroit/Cleveland has 6 runs through 4 innings, so that's likely toast. Tampa/Baltimore has just 1 run through 2 2/3 innings. Sad!
Missed it in the 5th when a Miami runner blew past the stop sign put up by the third base coach and scored.
It was such a sure thing lol.
We’re still all over the Diamondbacks today obv

0-3 day. Cherry on top was the Astros blowing the lead, being locked in a 4-4 tie for awhile, losing 6-4 late.
Also lost the Tigers under by 0.5.
My MLB season so far:
April 21 and May 8: 0-6, -6.00 units
All other days I made picks: 25-12, +11.19 units

Let's try to recover from yesterday with this pick:
New York (D. Peterson) at Cincinnati (Weaver) - Over 5.5 -125 - FIRST 5 INNINGS
All the offense is on the Reds side. This annoys me a bit because I was considering a dog bet on the Reds, but I just really thought Weaver sucked and didn't want to back him, despite how bad as Peterson has been. Figured both pitchers would suck balls and the safer bet would be the first-5 over.
Well, Weaver has spun 2 no-hit innings, while the Reds have scored 3, and just left 2 runners on.
A little bit close.
Bottom 5th, one out, one on. 4-1 Reds.
Newman hit it up the middle, and Myers probably interfered with the ball headed to second base. Umps ruled it was no interference, Showalter got thrown out, ended up runners at 1st and 2nd.
TJ Friedl, off to a great start, hit a triple, and 2 runs scored. That was it. One more run came home from a sac fly, and it was 7-1 after 5. So it looked like it was an easy win, but it was anything but that.
I'll take it.
The alternate first-5 line, over 6 +100, seen on some books, also hit.
Morning baseball!
Colorado (Senzatela) +124 at Pittsburgh (Hill)
In case you didn't get in the bet on the Rockies at 9:35am, here are some games a bit later:
Cincinnati (Greene) +134 vs Mets (Verlander)
Philadelphia (Wheeler) vs Toronto (Gausman) - Under 8.5 -115
St. Louis (Montgomery) at Cubs (Steele) - Under 7.5 -120
Clinched a winning day, by narrowly hitting the Colorado pick and easily winning the Phillies under (though the extras thing with the runner on base always scares me).
Reds tied 1-1 in the 2nd. Cardinals haven't started.
Just a reminder, our friend Rally, who seems to mostly post about iPhones for some reason, shared this gem with us how to read paywalled articles (for all devices, not just iPhones).
It works for ESPN+.
Just sayin'.
Very tilting when you start off 2-0, and picture a big day coming, and then your other 2 picks brick.
That looks likely, as St. Louis is awful and has coughed up 5 runs, and the Reds can't score. So it's 2-1 NY after 8, and 5-2 in the St. Louis under in the 5th. Both are pretty unlikely to win, though I guess the Reds are just 1 run away so it's not totally hopeless yet. But boy are those bats dead.
2-2 it is.
Hard for a shit offensive team like the Reds to break through in the 8th/9th against the Ottavino/Robertson combo, who have been quite effective this year for the Mets.
Chicago/St. Louis already has 9 runs. Oh well. I can't complain too much because the Rockies game was down 3-0 early, then was 3-3 for a long time, and the Rockies scored that deciding run late and it held up. That one could've easily gone the other way.
I have under 8.5 SDP Minny (2-2)
Going to extras and I will be sodomized - I have drifted away from the No under rules for 2023.
Reminds me of old Druff back in the day.
