Should've just stick with my two posted dog picks, would've had a nice day. The add-on of the Rockies was a disaster, and the live bet on the Giants seemed good until they blew it at the end.

Still slightly won because of the dog lines, but not much.

    MLB 4-2 +1.80

    Jays -105

    NHL series bets review:

Oilers - brutal result. Up 3-1 with 10 mins to go. Also give up game tying goal with 17 seconds left. McDavid held pointless and -2.

Boston win (good), and Islanders not too upset with a 2-1 loss.

Betting overs is so ploppy, so let's mix this up with a Sanlmar-style first 5 bet.

Look at the stats of Yankee Clarke Schmidt. He has an 8.44 ERA and 1.969 WHIP. He's allowing a lot of hard hit balls, and isn't getting swings-and-misses often. He will be dropped from the rotation when the Yankees are past their injury issues.

Now look at Jose Suarez of the Angels. After a decent 2022, Suarez is getting torched this year. His ERA is 10.80, to go with a WHIP of 2.280. Even in his not-so-bad spring, he had a 1.73 WHIP. He is also giving up hard hit balls.

How's the weather in NY? Glad you asked. 12mph wind blowing out.

Looks like a good bet that 6+ runs will come across in the first 5 innings.

    Angels (J. Suarez) at Yankee (C. Schmidt) - OVER 5 -105 -- FIRST 5 INNINGS

    Getting tortured here.

4-0 Angels, top 4. Man at 3rd, no out. You'd think I could at least secure a tie.

    Nope.

Two quick outs without the run coming home, then the Angles load the bases, and Turner Ward grounds out.

    Sigh.

Need something to happen in next 1.5 innings.

Angels walked in a run, then Judge sac-flied it to make it 4-2.

    All I need.

Let's try to keep it going with another ploppy pick.

Spencer Strider has been the breakout pitcher of the NL, and he's keeping it going in 2023, generating 27 K in just 16 IP. Even in his last "down" outing, he had an excellent 39% CSW (called and swinging strikes), and got 23 swings and misses in just 5 innings!

He faces a pitcher on the opposite end of the spectrum. Blake Snell is struggling badly, just like the beginning of 2022. He has an ERA near 7, and a WHIP over 2.1. He has a 16/10 K-BB ratio.

For just a low low price of -132, you too can have the Braves tonight.

Atlanta (Strider) -132 at San Diego (Snell)

The Leafs haven’t gotten past the first round of the playoffs since Zuck invented Facebook. The Leafs and Dodgers have so many similarities.

    Heavily favored yada yada

Leafs haven’t won a Cup since color television was invented.

Gagging under the bright lights of the playoffs.

    It’s crazy good

These hockey playoffs have been insanely great. Last night was the best sports I’ve experienced in ages.

    The pain is excruciating

BTW I feel so good about my first-5 over bet today. The game did not cover the over, as it ended 5-2, and the total was 9. So the only way to win the over was first-5.

Braves just blew a big scoring chance in the 2nd, with men at 2nd and 3rd with 1 out. They lead 1-0 going to bottom 2.

I’m on Strider too. No hitter til 6th.

I’m self banning any fade of Padres once Tatis returns. He is terrorizing the minors - he’s ready.

Cubs bullpen is just as bad as Oakland which could be an interesting spot.

34 cent spread on a 0-0 game (FD) . What value was I expecting to find? Still interesting as a fan.

    There outta be a law

Nice 2-0 day. After my strong 9-3 start, I had middling results for the past several days, so it was nice to hit both here.

Overall I am feeling good with my MLB picks. Seeing things well right now.

    I'm now 15-8, +6.34 units

Pains me to say it as a lifelong res sox fan but them son of a bitch Yankees get all the breaks when it comes to award season. As such, Volpe as Jeter reincarnate +900 is wort a stab

Posted this at the end of last year and a few months ago as well, if you were some if the early ones on S Strider for Most K’s at +1000 you got yourself a deal.

C Javier looked like a true ace last year and a future Cy young award winner at that. +2200 why the hell not.

The Red Sox will suck this year

Little early to start counting money on these but off to a great start.

Strider pulled into the lead last night. I expect that to stick going forward (adjusted for equal amount of starts). All about making the 31 starts now.

Golf: Zurich Classic in New Orleans starts tomorrow Thursday

kind of a weird tournament that involves team play ( 2 man teams )

The Zurich Classic will employ an alternating-round of four-ball and foursomes. Teams will begin in the four-ball format in Round 1 and utilize it again in Round 3 while foursomes — commonly referred to as alternate shot — will be used in Rounds 2 and 4.

four ball example: Four-ball: Players from each team will play their own ball throughout the round with the best score between the two being used for each hole. If Schauffele makes par on No. 1 and Cantlay makes birdie, the team will record a birdie.

foursome example : Foursome: Before the round begins, teams will determine which member will tee off on which holes. One player will be designated to strike the first tee shot on odd holes while the other will begin the even holes. If Cantlay strikes the tee shot on No. 1, Schauffele will take on the approach with Cantlay then hitting the third. This alternating will continue until the ball is holed. Even if Schauffele is the last to strike a shot on No. 1, he will hit the tee shot on the second hole in this instance.

for these reasons above i like these bets for the price in no particular order.....

Harris English and Tom Hoge to beat Sam burns and Billy Horschel in round #1 ( +140 ) 4 ball format

Justin Suh and Sahith Theegala to beat Sungiae Im and Keith Mitchell in round # 1 ( +120 ) 4 ball format.... ( i really like this one )

Justin Suh and Sahith Theegala to finish top 10 for the tournament ( +175 )

Harris English and Tom Hoge to finish top 20 for the tournament ( +105 )

anyone else like other pairings and or matchups and finishes ?

hit em straight and long pal....

Look pal, two things you can count on, Nicky Pipes betting the Rays every game no matter the price and Nicky Pipes tailing Druffs picks.

Fellas, I’ve done phenomenally well tailing and collaborating with Druff over the past few weeks. I believe I am 5-1 tailing his baseball play. Riding with Ryan pal

Twins up 7-0 early. Now 7-1 in the 5th.

Funny enough, the book which limited me earlier has reenabled full limits betting for MLB only.

Do they know who they're dealing with?

The smart book would limit me in baseball and football, and give me unlimited action in basketball.
