when I grew up there was a cop in most schools, called a school resource officer, fully fledged officer in uniform, gun and all.

There really does need to be a strong message from the left that "violence against the oppressor" is not appropriate over these trans issues.
For all the talk about Trump and the right "radicalizing" MAGA types into violence, they are ignoring the other side being much worse. We see videos every day on Twitter of biological males beating up feminists protesting having their spaces violated, and it's just quietly dismissed as no big deal. Imagine if right wingers showed up to feminist protests and beat up women. You think that would be covered a bit differently?
This is similar to the 2020 BLM riots. The message is that it's okay to resort to violence as long as the media says you're oppressed. Then they want to blame guns. Unbelievable.
