The Nevada electoral shitshow continues.
The drop boxes had 56,900 ballots -- far short of the 100k Democrats had hoped to find.
There is also a batch of 27,000 mailed in ballots in Clark County which also haven't been opened -- so that makes about 84k Clark County votes remaining to be counted, and that definitely skews D.
There are another 57,000 in Washoe County (Reno area) which are also not counted yet. Those are more of a mystery, but very well might break evenish.
They have proceeded to count those 84k in Clark County, and are 1/6 done. The first 14k broke heavily for Cortez-Masto, to the tune of +35 points. This shaved Laxalt's lead down to 18k, from 23k.
If it continues at this pace, she will take a 7k lead, and whatever remains at Washoe is unlikely to make up the difference.
HOWEVER... it may not continue at this pace, especially if they were counting the mailed ballots first, and not the drop boxes. Overall, Cortez-Masto needs probably to win by high-20s in points in order to beat Laxalt (it's hard to say exact numbers, because some go to third party).
Joe Lombardo has a much safer 39k lead at the moment.
